The girls at Karen Willis Holmes (KWH) are fabulous. KWH was the first bridal shop that I visited (a bit of an intimidating experience) and I immediately felt at home - not pressured at all (and I only had 4 months until my wedding). In fact, I loved the dresses so much that KWH was the only shop I visited! I just found my perfect dress and had the confidence in them to make it, so I just did not feel the need to shop around. My dress made me feel like the ultimate stylish princess that I wanted to be. Thanks to all the girls at KMH!

I was really surprised to find that the Simmone Logue cakes were reasonably priced - plus they provided samples free of charge (and proper cake portions to sample, not just bite sized pieces!). The cake was beautifully decorated with flowers that they supplied. Top marks to Ivy Puterflam for being a pleasure to deal with.

Positives - Amazing views, room rate was reasonable for a 5 star hotel Negatives - no outdoor pool, day spa and room services are very pricey, staff did not warn us that breakfast buffet only open until 10.30am (when we thought it was until 11am - oops!)

Peppers is fantastic! They took great care to make sure the set up of the room was exactly as I wanted. The food was delicious and the waitstaff were attentive and friendly - everyone received 5 star treatment. All of my guests commented on the high quality of the accomodation. We did have some problems when we initially checked in (i.e. the room we were promised was mysteriously unavailable...) but a quick word to the manager and the event manager meant that situation was quickly resolved. Kristen Hammond (functions manager) was very friendly and efficient, and a real asset to the company.
