I had a hen's afternoon tea at Gazebo Wine Garden (Kings Cross, Sydney). The food was delicious and beautifully presented, including whole bread sticks on cheese boards. The atmosphere was great, very fun. The bar doesn't allow veils as costumes and probably wouldn't like a group of more than 30.

We live in Sydney but our wedding was in Melbourne. I organised accommodation at The Langham (Southbank) for my family. Our room configuration was a bit tricky and changed over the 4 nights we were there and the hotel was really organised and helpful and a lovely place to stay.

Depending on what you are after for your jewellery, don't forget Myer. I wore my grandmother's pendant and found earrings to match there for only $24.95. The area is a bit messy so it can take time to find what you want but the range they have available is huge.

My husband and I spent out wedding night at the Westin. They organised a taxi to transport our bags from our previous hotel. We checked in between photos and the reception and they gave me a complimentary drink (cup of tea!). The room was gorgeous and late checkout no problem.
