Our cake was amazing! We had a 3 tier round wedding cake with ribbon around each layer in the colours of the bridesmaids (orange, pink and purple) and the flowers from our bouquets made out of icing. The main part of our cake though was our figurines. We had them made through Carolyn to replicate us on the weding day. I sent her pictures of my dress how i was having my hair, my shoes and john in his suit and the figurines came out perfect. The cake itself was delicious too. The bottom two layers were Choc-raspberry mud and everyone has said how fantasic it was for wedding cake. The top layer is fruit and we have kept that for later. Overall a fantastic buisness. We had a stretch Chrysler so that we could fit our whole bridal party in together. We found Enrik is one of the few companies that will take a limo up into the Dandenongs and despite all of the winding roads it was a very smooth ride. The driver was really helpful including bringing two huge umbrellas because it was raining. The driver was also really open to changes in plans in our photo locations (due to the weather).

Miss Bella is a fantastic formal ware shop located in Boronia. I ended up getting our bridesmaid dresses, ties and hankies for the boys, my wedding dress and veil all from this shop. It is a relatively new shop to open up and very reasonably priced. The ladies that work there are fantastic and will go out of their way to make sure everything is exactly how you would like it. The lady that owns the shop even brought colour samples for the bridesmaid dresses around to my house after work because I had got stuck in a meeting and couldn't get there during opening hours. Ralf Fisch owns a small jewellers in The Basin and his work is fantastic. My engagement ring has a twist in it which made it very difficult to find a wedding band to sit in next to it. We went to Ralph and he design the most beautiful wedding band that mirrored aspects of my engagement ring and sits in perfectly. Kelly was great on the day. What drew me to using her was her use of colour. We had a very colourful wedding with the theme colours (and bridesmaids) orange, pink and purple and i wanted the vibrancy to come through in the photos. From the few sneak peak photos that I have seen she has captured the colours beautifully. Kelly also had a great way of working with us. Neither of us are really comfortable with getting our photo taken and she was able to make us feel really comfortable even with a huge camera pointing at us. We just decided to use Myer for our registry as it was easy and had a good range of products. Most of our guests used the registry or got ideas from it and purchased them elsewhere. The only problem we found with this registry was the cost to the guests for their gift to be delivered. We found the only guests that used this part of the service were those who decided to buy a gift if they could not make it to the wedding (e.g. overseas rellies). The delivery itself was great as we could elect for it to come when we had got back from our honeymoon and they came in the time frame that they said that they would. Overall the registry worked very well.

Marybrooke were fantastic! The venue itself was beautiful and our night ran so smoothly. They had an extensive menu to choose from and the food on the night was delicious. The staff there were so happy to help and didn't seem to mind all of the emails and changes in plans they were getting from me in the lead up to the wedding. Included in the package was the MC for the night and accommodation for the bride and groom. As none of our guests were staying there we had the whole place to ourselves. Ourselves and all of our guests had a great time and we really couldn't fault the place at all!
