OVERVIEW

I would be proud to be given the honour to be your celebrant. I will design your Ceremony with you both in mind.

Every Couple is special, and as such deserves a Ceremony which is individual, designed for them, which is heartfelt, engaging, warm and meaningful and exactly what they want in their wedding. As a Celebrant I work with the couple, to write a Ceremony for your once in a lifetime event that is personal and that you will remember forever.

I can offer you your own individual ceremony, or if you would prefer just a simple ceremony, I can offer you a selection of ceremonies, or again, I can mix and match. I love being a wedding celebrant at all types of ceremonies including small, informal, friendly, unusual ceremonies.

Contact me for an information package, or to ask me any questions.

Areas include Mornington Peninsula, Bass Coast and Westernport areas but I will travel.

About

I have been a Civil Celebrant since 2011, choosing to become a Celebrant because I just love to see people happy, enjoy the whole process of planning a Ceremony and getting to know my couples. I love writing, and have published a number of books, including family histories, growing giant pumpkins. I use this skill to create beautiful ceremonies. I have recently started painting, and love to create pictures for myself and others. I live in Langwarrin, but am happy to travel to weddings.

Do celebrants usually recommend pre-marriage counselling or courses?

Wendy Stayner

As an approved Civil Celebrant our role is to ensure our couples know about counselling options, offer these options to our couples, but allow the couple to select what is best for them.    I personally would recommend that any literature your celebrant gives you regarding pre-marriage counselling, that you read careful and make your own decisions.

How much should I expect to pay for a celebrant?

And is it cheaper to go for a religious officiant? I'm not fussed about the cost just want to know what to budget for. :)

Wendy Stayner

The cost varies greatly, but to receive a good quality and individual ceremony, I would not recommend you pay less than $500.   A ceremony should be designed for the couple, not a standard ceremony for every body.    I suggest asking any celebrant  you contact do they design a ceremony for the individual couple.
