The team deliver hundreds of weddings every year and have an enormous amount of knowledge and expertise in every venue.

And the best thing of all is that after the planning and preparation of your big day, you and your guests can relax and unwind on the island.

When you book a wedding with Hamilton Island, you will be allocated a personal wedding coordinator to assist you in the coordination of your wedding to ensure the smooth flow of your day.

Your wedding coordinator will provide you with knowledge, guidance and advice on various aspects from venue selection to facilitating communications and quotes with suppliers, and management of your payments. On the day of your wedding, your coordinator will manage supplier arrivals, movements and deliveries, advice to you and your guests, cue your entrances, and check venue layouts amongst many others tasks.

With more than 10 ceremony locations and 15 unique reception venues, we can cater for anywhere between two – 300 guests.

Carry on is usually the best way to transport a wedding gown and most airlines are helpful with assisting you with hanging your dress and avoiding it being placed in an overhead locker.

Be sure to speak to your airline and notify them you are travelling with your gown and they can provide further advice.

We recommend packing your dress very carefully and placing in a garment bag. If you are packing your dress in a box, be sure to check that it adheres with the airlines carry on size requirements.

Alternatively you can ship your dress ahead of your wedding. We recommend allowing 10 business days for deliveries to Hamilton Island.

Yes. We offer a 10% accommodation discount for you and all your guests at selected accommodation and also provide the wedding couple a $150 room credit to use during their stay when staying at hotel style accommodation.
