Beautiful room overlooking the harbour but champagne ordered was substituted for something cheaper which was a little disappointing

Things were a little messy at one point because of a change in personnel and they wedding co-ordinator was changed. But after everything was worked out, everything went smoothly. Alex was great in handling everything, despite not being there from the beginning.

Stayed here with my mum the night before my wedding and 2 nights with my husband, hotel staff were great. Highly recommend the Grand Harbour View Room. They do great discounts for airline staff too!

We stayed at the Shang ri la Sydney and the service was fantastic. 5 stars in every way. The service efficient and always with a smile. It's a pleasant change that staff go out of their way to help you and can't do enough for you.

The shangri la hotel was amazing. Our room was on a high floor, we had champaigne and chocolates and also were given a beautiful breakfast and a really late checkout (5pm) the next day. was beautiful.

Positives - Amazing views, room rate was reasonable for a 5 star hotel
Negatives - no outdoor pool, day spa and room services are very pricey, staff did not warn us that breakfast buffet only open until 10.30am (when we thought it was until 11am - oops!)

We stayed in the Grand Premier Harbour View Room and it was amazing. Staff are friendly and the room was so luxurious. A great hotel to stay for your Wedding Night.
