How can we pull off the perfect surprise wedding?

We have a lot of family drama, a lot of different people trying to take over and be in control and so my partner and I have decided to throw a surprise wedding because we still do really want all the people we love there (rather than eloping). We have already had an engagement party, so we can't pull that trick.. can you give me some advice/options on pulling off the perfect surprise wedding

Hire a wedding planner or Pop-Up Wedding business to organise all the aspects of the ceremony and then have a party or reception / restaurant / venue organised for afterwards. That way your friends or family can't accidentally let out your secret and you have collaborators to help with putting together the set up / decor, etc and the work is done for you so you can enjoy your day / night. Having an excuse for the party that everyone will make the effort to turn up to is the tricky part - a big birthday is always the easy option. Do you have any other annual get-togethers that could be used. Maybe say you have some exciting news and they have to be at the party to find out.

If having a house party, it would be easier if you had somebody in-the-know so you could set up the party at their house to alleviate suspicion at yours and who could help with speculating of what the surprise is to steer conversations away from it being a wedding; the pop-up / wedding planners could have decor / arbour / chairs, etc ready to pull out when the secret is revealed. A few white lanterns and fairy lights set up hanging from a tree and turned on at the reveal time could be an easy option to create a location for your ceremony.

We hope this helps and you work out a way to pull off a fabulous surprise wedding.

This is a tricky one as you have already had the engagement party. And even trickier as you want all your loved ones to turn up, plus dressed for the party. I would turn it around completely and lock in the date and send an invitation to a surprise wedding. Then pretend to your family the planning is even out of your hands - you won a surprise wedding, your friends are organising it, or you have hired a secret wedding planner and all you must do is turn up on the day. Good luck!

This can be a very stressful time in your life, so planning a surprise pop up wedding is a great idea. Yes, a birthday party is great. Even a family reunion/picnic may be nice also..

Get some help just putting it altogether and then have fun. Fun and relaxation is such a vital key to life itself, so enjoy. Hope I could help you.
