The creative writing skills and innovative sounds of the Urban Gypsies set them in a class of their own. Urban Gypsies have performed for over 12 years at numerous festivals, clubs, concerts and events. They have supported Buena Vista social club, Cassandra Wilson, and many more… They have also released three highly acclaimed instrumental albums that feature regularly on radio such as ABC classic FM and are currently recording a fourth album.
Depending on the size and style of your event, Urban Gypsies can perform as solo guitar, duo guitar, trio with cello, or quartet with percussion. They will deliver a wonderful, rich sound that relaxes and entertains without overpowering the space. Offering a large, pleasing repertoire, they will also learn your chosen songs for your Ceremony and/or Wedding Waltz. They can also jam with a DJ if you’d like an ultra-cool transition into the dancing segment of the night.
