Services Description:
Situated in the heart of Melbourne, the Victorian Marriage Registry caters to a wide range of cultures, preferences and budgets.

The Old Treasury Building is situated on the corner of Spring and MacArthur Streets, next to the Treasury Gardens, making it an ideal location for wedding photos. The Building is also close to many of Melbourne's inner-city hotels, restaurants and bars for celebrations after the ceremony.

The Victorian Marriage Registry offers couples the choice of two ceremony rooms, the Margaret Craig Room, which accommodates up to 55 guests, and the Thomas Hyde Room, which accommodates up to eight guests.

The Registry's team of marriage celebrants provide a professional and warm wedding ceremony. Couples can tailor the vows and readings to suit their wishes (as long as they meet the specific legal & time requirements). Please note that 30 minutes is allocated for each wedding.

Prices range from $250 - $320 and include the ceremony room, service, celebrant and preparation of marriage certificates.

For bookings: Please send an enquiry to make an appointment to lodge your marriage paperwork or for information on booking by post. Alternately visit our website for more details and the necessary forms for marrying at the Victorian Marriage Registry.

Please note any couples wishing to marry in Australia must lodge their Notice of intended marriage at least one calendar month, and no more than 18 months, before the date they wish to be married.
