Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat

Ruined my honeymoon. Nice room and location, however very disapopinting hospitality team, and cleaniness definitely not up to par. Do not recommend. DO NOT CHECK IN ON SUNDAY. Paid $2.5k for 2-night stay at LUXURY Rainforest Lodge (Mountain view with heated pool in backyard). At 15:30 check-in few issues arised after quick inspection: 1) Door to backyard heated pool completely locked. 1x Staff and 2x Managers unable to unlock. We have to walk out front door and along side of property in chilling weather to get to the pool, as no one can undo the lock. 2) Clear yellowish-brown puddle of stains (clear as day under 3pm sunlight) in middle of bedsheet, and conveniently found more brown stains on bottom side of both pillow cases, along with a few previous guests' hair. 3) Toilet seat caked in previous guests' urine stain, and faeces stain inside the bowl. 4) Contacted management team at 4pm regarding issue, no reply until we chase it up 30min after. And then was told all managers and cleaning staff went home, so we can either suck it up for a night on possibly period-stained sheet or change room (which btw we booked this room especially for the pool and view, and no guarantee that the other room is clean). Apparently no one can make the bed with new sheet at all on the property. We requested to speak to the manager, who sounded like he gave us the corporate generic apology. In the end we decided to request for a full refund and drove 2hr home because why spent $2.5k on a good room with poor housekeeping. We also do not want to waste our precious honeymoon holiday going back and forth with management who clearly do not care, at all. So Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat management team, feel free to contact both me and my partner regarding our complaints. Be proud that you guys have single-handedly ruined our honeymoon. It would be nice to know the managers' names too, since no introduction or follow up contact has been made from your side.

Wow now this is the place to get engaged. My now husband meticulously planned my proposal with the help of the team at Crystal Creek. They went above and beyond to create a spectacular setting for my husband to propose in. Bottle of champagne, chocolates, a huge bunch or long stem red roses, canceled, rose petals, a lit fireplace and even a love heart shaped with rose petals on the bed. The view was stunning and they even organised an in-house couples massage for us the next day. You can cater yourself or purchase their meal packs which we did. Such a great romantic and relaxing experience

I've had my eye on this resort for quite a few years, and was worried it wouldn't live up to my expectations, but was pleasantly surprised when it exceeded them! Absolutely gorgeous resort, and the staff are super friendly. Can't fault them on a single thing, great place, great food, great staff, excellent all round. Hoping we can return soon

We had the most amazing and relaxing time, the cabin and food was outstanding. The staff where so professional and the set up was just perfect.
