All the suits were hired from RD Marion. Staff were friendly and very helpful and the suits were magnificent!
Worst experience ever! I would never deal with this company again. So many problems from start to finish and my husband almost didn't have a suit on the day!
After looking nearly everywhere for good reasonably priced suits we were so happy with Roger David. For 1/3 of the cost we got the same suits we wanted and socks, belts, shirts, ties, shoes everything all in the one spot!
Monique & Jess from Roger David Cairns Central were wonderful. Nothing we asked was a trouble, they worked to ensure that the suit for the groom, formal wear for the groomsmen, and our hire items were ready for collection (and return times for hired items) at convenient times.
So easy! Go in, measure up, go back pick up, then drop off when your finished!! Suits looked great, perfect fit!
We hired all the mens suits from Roger David. The suits were fine but on the day the ties and handkerchiefs were the wrong colour (Maroon instead of dark purple) I wasn't particularly happy about that so they lose points purely for that.
The service at Roger David in Frankston was faultless. The guys were able to go in for their fittings when they were ready and were even given a 20% off voucher for their next purchase!

Roger David in Perth Hay st mall made finding suits so easy for my fiancé as we live out in the country. Jason was very helpful and made the whole process stress free and simple for my fiancé and his groomsmen who also lived interstate!
Loved the guys suits. The majority of there wear was from this store. Very helpful and contactable.
Our guys looked very dapper and the service was great in store however we couldn't help but feel disappointed. For the $260 per person hire fee, basic package, one could have purchased a new suit with better quality fabric and better fit.
Suits looked great but customer service was horrible. The day before the wedding my husband had to travel over an hour away to pick up parts of the suits that wasn't ordered in correctly while staff were rude to me on the phone. Head office as understanding.

Had Quite a few issues with getting the right sizing in as all the boy suits had to be corrected. However the staff were happy to help and the grooms suit was fine.
The staff helped the boys choose awesome outfits for the day and were really accomodating of our tight schedule (1 week!!)
Crystal from Roger David in Brisbane Myer Centre was a saviour!! We walked in not having a clue and by the end of our first meeting we had everything sorted for all the boys! They have a great range and all top quality. Thanks Crystal!
We bought suits from here and the service from some staff was great but others at times were very disorganised. We were going to get the hank, tie and vest from here too but after waiting for so long for a sample then to be told it was discontinued!!
I think they are a little steep in their prices though they provide good customer service.They were flexible in allowing us to pick up a suit in one State and return it to another. Communication was faultless
So helpful, patient and understanding - let us mix and match suit jackets and pants to fit the odd size shaped men in our bridal party!!
Jim in the Hobart City Store was a pleasure to deal with and made those difficult choices so much easier.
I don't recommend Roger David at all! Two days before our wedding our groomsman went to pick up his suit, and we found out that it had never been ordered and they had lost his measurements. Another groomsman was given the wrong colour vest (beige instead of black) and all of the ties were ordered incorrectly. Very unhappy.
We decided to just buy the suites, was only marginally more expensive than renting, and the groomsmen looked great! Now they have them to wear at all their friends weddings too :)
Very helpful manager at the East Gardens store - they helped us get all the sizes for the GM's even though they all needed to go to different stores. They also helped us save money where ever possible.
Roger David Springfield Lakes at Orion Shopping centre. Staff extremely accomodating with getting our interstate groomsmen to try on suits else where and sending measurements through. Suits were perfect and of a high quality.
We went to Melbourne's Bourke Street Mall store. The gentleman was super helpful, and after a very LONG day of searching finished off the groom, best man & father of the bride in one store!
Roger David (Michael) in Bourke Street was fantastic! we were only planning on paying $300 for a suit but ended up paying $540 as he was just amazing.... fitted my fiance and ran to other stores to get a size he needed there and then. 5/5 :)
The groom wanted a waistcoat ensemble rather than a tux . Jess at the Perth city store was great !
My husband looked sexy and perfect!! Had the traditional wedding shirt and plenty of formal vests etc to choose from :)
My husband ended up buying his suit and the service from Roger David was out standing. Roger David at Carindale, Queensland.
We got the boys suits from Roger David as it was better to buy a suit then hire one. Suits were not too expensive but were beautiful!
All the boys looked incredibly dashing and suits fitted perfectly. Apparently the shoes were very uncomfortable.

Terrible service. Wrong size suits were sent. Ties and vests were discontinued but we were not informed until we went to see the suits a week before the wedding. We had to buy ties because they could not get any alternatives in. Complete suits only arrived on the day before the wedding.
My father hired his suit from Roger David. The original shirt and waistcoat that they measured him for didn't fit properly when they arrived so they ordered another size in plenty of time for the wedding. He looked great!
Had a few dramas with suits coming back not the right size but other than that they looked amazing.
The girl that helped us buy the suit at Roger David was amazing. We walked in pretty much not knowing what we wanted and she helped the boys with everything. We also bought the cufflinks here. Good selection at a good price.
Brought all 5 Groomsman suits from Roger David in Fountain Gate and not only was it fast and effecient its ALOT cheaper than hiring the suits and all the guys were stoked they got to keey suits! Highly recommend!!

Hire suits quite worn and tired, and several measurements wrong. Extremely helpful staff in the Canberra store, however.
Suits looked great but we did have a few problems with suits being sent to the correct stores and having the correct names on the suits which caused a littl confusion but in the end the boys looked fab!

Bought the Groom and groomsmen suits at a wonderful price. As opposed to most formalwear suppliers Roger David has great sales. We were lucky enough to buy the shirts, and suits at buy 1 get one half price.
My Groom bought his suit from Roger David. They were a little difficult- didn't return calls and there was a mix up with the waist jacket. The suit was great quality.
Great service from Roger David staff at Eastlands in Melbourne. They seeked pants that were not in season for us from other stores.
They mixed up the suits so one of the groomsmen had a completely different suit and had the wrong size pants. It was his fault he didn't try them on after the original fitting but they did stuff it up.
The suits looked great but I had to drive all the way to bayswater to pick up my pageboy's tie as they ordered it in the wrong colour and the wedding was a day a way. I was a bit angry about that
Everytime we went they tried to make us pay the deposit again because they wouldn't look up previous payments. However suits looked excellent!!

Rodger David had a huge range of formal wear to choose from. The staff were extremely helpfull and went the extra mile. The suits we hired were very good qaulity, as was the service.
The boy's suits didn't fit properly (some parts two sizes too small and others far too large) and were missing several key items (like vests!), they brought the wrong shirts in (and tried to tell us that's what we ordered), and although they did manage to fix it before the day (only just) it left a bad taste. I really don't like being told that we've ordered one thing when we've got proof we ordered something else. The boys also said that the pants had pull tabs to change sizes, which were not the same as the ones they had originally tried on, and we weren't told this when they first tried them on (the ones they'd tried on were different to what arrived). Apparently the pull tabs meant the pants kept trying to balloon in size.
Groom's vest had a blood stain and we had to return to get it. There was confusion with our order. When suits were returned they gave each groomesman the deposit instead all to bride and groom who put down deposit.
My husband chose Roger David. The suits were very old fashioned - Baggy pleated pants and oversized shoulder pads. The suits in there hire brochure looked great but unfortunately you are not able to try on the suits until a few days before the wedding. You should be able to try on the exact suits.
We decided to hire suits from Roger David at the last minute and only the groom available to be measured (less than 48 hrs before the wedding!) and they were extremely helpful. However when the boys went to collect the suits one of the groomsmen's didn't fit, but you couldn't really blame them because he wasn't fitted and they helped again by referring us to a different store which hired the same suits and all was well!

Just had to get all the boys sized up and they had everything there within the week. They hired the vests and we bought ties from Lowes. They all had white shirts and black pants already
Roger David were great, they had the suits all ready for collection and there were no problems with sizing etc. The only complaint is that they werent great with email correspondence and for out of towners this may be an issue.
Garden City - Extremely helpful and were very patient with us. We decided to buy the suits for all the men, and the price was only marginally more than hire - a great deal.
We just wanted vest & ties. Unfortunately RD does not allow more than 1 tie per transcation and a minimum of $50 applies per transaction. Which is fine if you wish to rent an entire outfit. Overall very dissapointed as we only got a vest n fatboy tie for me (groom) and then had to run all over Sydney to find a tie for the groomsmen.
How easy....Andrew & I walked in one day just to have a looked and walked out with everything for him and his best ment. The staff were fantastic and were able to show us different suits that would suit our style and the climate. They all looked very cool.
Macarthur Square store were really great with my husband and his groomsmen. they looked after them and told me they 'wouldnt have let them walk out looking anything less that Handsome!' which they were on the day.
The boys were running amok in there, they even stayed open late for us, as I couldnt get the grooom the take the whole thing serious..LOL, They were very patient with us, and freindly!
We ended up actually buying all the suits - including my fathers - from Roger David. The prices to buy rather than hire were very competitive - and the one bonus buying rather than hiring was that the style of the suits were much more modern rather than old fashioned. Serge from Roger David was so friendly and helpful - and by no means pushed us to buy - just pointed out that it really wasn't that much more to buy a suit (we were lucky they had a buy two get the third free) so that brought the cost down to being very competitive. I would certainly recomend shopping around some of the menswear stores for any specials - and buying the guys new, more trendy suits. And boy did they all look amazing on the day!!!! I had a bunch of spunks at the wedding!!
These guys were ok to deal with. There were a few hic-ups when the suits came in and the guys went for their fittings. Turns out the bestman was given the grooms suit to try on (which of course didn't fit in any way, shape or form). Panic set in as we only had 5 days to get the right size in. Then the problem was detected and all was right within 24 hours. Any changes that need to be made were done my the manager and all sorted within the promised time frame.
The people in the store were pretty good, but the company their gear comes from were pretty lax in their quality control. They sent a replacement size suit jacket for my husband which had 2 big and obvious rips on the sleeve, so he was forced to wear a suit jacket that was too big for him.
Got grooms suit and mens shirts from Roger David - looked nice, good quality for the price and the groomsmen all got to keep their shirts. They also said we could exchange them if they were the wrong size (luckily they all fit).
The boys bought their suits and couldn't be happier. We went to the blacktown store and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly.
