The Chinese Garden of Friendship is a tranquil oasis full of romance. The beauty of this exotic garden with its cascading waterfalls, rock forests, graceful bridges and enchanting landscapes creates an elegant setting that will enhance your special day. The Garden’s sheltered pavilions and courtyards provide a magnificent backdrop for your wedding ceremony, reception and photos, whatever the weather. Designed to foster happiness and peace this serene haven in the midst of Sydney’s Darling Harbour is full of beauty and splendour. With its calm waters, gorgeous plants and harmonious atmosphere, it is a location that is sure to create everlasting memories for you and your guests. The Garden offers a choice of four pavilions and two function areas including The Hall of Long Life and Prosperity – traditionally used for banqueting, and The Chamber of Clear Rhythm – located in a quiet, secluded spot that is perfect for your ceremony and bridal party photos.

The lower levels of the Garden can be hired for a ceremony and/or wedding photography during business hours, or if you require privacy – you can hire the Garden after it has closed to the public. The Garden can cater for weddings of up to 120 people, utilising one or more pavilions. The four pavilions (including two function areas) are available for hire daily between 9.30 am and 5.00 pm (last booking from 3.00 pm).
