Simon from Nick Read Entertainment DJ’d our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Music is so important to my husband and I, and we gave him a super specific brief. He absolutely nailed it. Our family and friends are a tough crowd, even my husband and I, we do not dance! But I especially found it hard to leave the dance floor and our guests raved on about how good the night was. There was always people on the dance floor. I have received so many compliments from our guests on Simon’s ability to really bring the party. Thank you for making our day so very special.

Words cannot express how indebted we are to Tay and how much he contributed to the overall atmosphere, love, vibe and overall smoothness of our big day. A multiskilled man, Tay was our live music entertainment, our MC, our DJ and most importantly our dear friend. Always on call with questions. Always willing to hear out your wants and desires and has creative ways to make these come to life. So many of our guest who had never met Tay before all complemented us afterwards on his amazing voice, his mannerism and they way he kept the night running smoothly. We booked DJ Evan for both our wedding music and the photobooth, and we couldn’t be happier! He was professional, easy to work with, and made everything feel seamless on the day. The music was spot on — with a great mix of Chinese and English songs that made it perfect for our bilingual wedding. He really listened to our requests and set the right mood throughout the night. The photobooth was a huge hit, and Evan’s wife was so friendly and helpful in making sure our guests had fun with it. We’re so thankful to them both for their professionalism and good energy, and we’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ and photobooth in Melbourne.

We had Herding Katz play at our small backyard wedding in April 2026, and they were absolutely perfect for the occasion. From the moment they arrived, they created such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that suited our day beautifully. It felt personal, easy and really special — exactly what we were hoping for with a smaller, more intimate wedding. As the night went on, they effortlessly lifted the energy and had everyone up dancing, turning our backyard into a full-blown party. It was amazing to see how they could adapt so naturally to the space and the crowd. They were also fantastic to deal with in the lead-up — friendly, professional and super easy to communicate with. If you’re planning a wedding, big or small, we can’t recommend Herding Katz enough. They truly made our day unforgettable!

Absolutely recommend Nick to anyone looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond! Communication leading up to our wedding was excellent. The FaceTime meeting was great, getting to meet Nick before the event, made us very comfortable his vibe and personality was going to be the perfect fit. I felt comfortable leaving the creativity in Nick’s hands and was not disappointed at all! Nick absolutely nailed it! Nick was excellent to work with and had my guests entertained all afternoon/evening! The vibe was kept high and the music perfectly matched each section of the evening. Nick checking in with us throughout the night was a lovely touch.

Highly recommend Bill Olsen! He performed at my wedding in October 2025 - His beautiful guitar and vocals are utterly perfect for ceremony, canapés and dinner. We had a minor technical difficulty during the dancing but he solved it within minutes and soon the dance floor was packed again. He kept the music (a mix of live and DJ) going for 7 hours with only 1 very quick break for his dinner (music still playing at this time). He is also very reasonably priced for his talent, professionalism and experience.

Alex DJ’ed our wedding last night and it was absolutely FANTASTIC from start to finish. Everything we spoke about was done, he read the room, he took requests, he was INCREDIBLE!! I’d absolutely be recommending him to others. The entire process with him was wonderful, he was always available to answer any of our questions or have. A chat/call. We felt fully confident in his abilities from our first call with him.

We had The Famos and Co perform at our wedding on the 22nd of February 2025, and they were absolutely incredible! Kristen and Tahli’s live vocals were stunning as guests were arriving, during cocktail hour, and as they entered the reception. They created such a beautiful and relaxed vibe throughout the afternoon and evening. Michael kept the energy high all night as our DJ and had everyone up and dancing. Chelsea was amazing to work with in the lead-up to the big day - her communication and organisation made everything so easy and stress-free. The whole team went above and beyond, and we couldn't have asked for a better entertainment crew. Highly recommend The Famos and Co for anyone planning a wedding!
