Mel was absolutely fantastic and really professional she was also able to make us feel very very comfortable at the same time. She was great with reminders when it came to the paperwork side of things and I did not come across pushy at all. Mel was able to really take the stress out of things for us just with how she conducted herself. She was also very good with communication any thing I needed she was able to get straight back to me. Our ceremony was amazing we wanted a low key and relaxed ceremony and she couldn't have done it better. Mel was able to keep it in formal and also quite humorous, however, she still maintained her professionalism.

I'm looking into booking a celebrant, but I don't understand the difference between ceremony types?

Some provide a "full personalised" ceremony, and others a basic package, what's the biggest difference there? I thought all ceremonies had to be pretty much the same, ie: "Do you ___ take ___ to be your lawfully wedded wife". Please explain how there's such a big difference in price and services? :)

The ceremony 'Type" is really anything you both want it to be. There are loads of different types you can choose from its basically one that reflects you two. For example it can be relaxed, traditional, no frills, modern, fun, themed ( eg gothic, costume etc ) this is where the celebrant can help you design the ceremony of your choice that uniquely suits you and your partner. I work closely with couples to co create exactly what they want. If they don't know what they want .... which is often the case, I give them lots and lots of different ideas. It's exciting and so much fun!!

There are few legal elements that are compulsory throughout the ceremony but the rest is of your choice. Good luck with the planning and I really hope you find the perfect celebrant that suits your needs and creates you a beautiful wedding.

I have a marriage service agreement which depicts the couples expressed wishes regarding photos and social media, An announcement can be made before the commencement of the wedding by myself informing the guests of your wishes regarding photos and social media. I agree this can be a concern for any couple.
