Your booking with Sama Photo and Film begins with an in-depth consultation where you'll discuss your wedding day plans, stylistic preferences for your photography, as well some background about you as a couple. From here, Sabrina will build a rapport, allowing her to tailor a personalised approach and put you at ease in front of the camera. 

Each Sama Photo and Film package includes beautiful, subtle post-production editing. You'll also receive a convenient online gallery perfect for easy browsing and sharing your images with loved ones, plus a beautifully presented USB. SAMA is primarily run by Sabrina (me) and is put together of my first and last name (Sabrina Maschke), but I regularly partner up with other creatives. The business has a couple of regular second shooters for weddings etc. 

I'm originally from Germany, but I now call Adelaide, South Australia home. I am occasionally on the road and overseas, so it is worth asking where I am around the time of your wedding. You never know, I might be in your area!

I sometimes use a second shooter. It depends on the size and complexity of the wedding. A second shooter is available for most weddings at a separate fee. I sometimes use an assistant, I will notify you before bringing anyone to your wedding.

Not at all. I have a password protected area on my website. Everything can be private if that is what you wish. If you wish that no photos of you will be published on my socials or website, please let me know and I'll make sure of that.

It is advisable to pay the deposit as soon as you make your final decision, to secures the date for your booking. The deposit is 25% and is non refundable. But don't worry, if for any reason you have to postpone your wedding, the deposit will be held and used to secure your next date.

The full amount is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding. I'm also happy to help with a payment plan.

Never ever ever! And I plan on keeping it that way. If for some reason I really could not shoot your wedding for what ever reason, I do have a backup plan for that situation.

My partner and I knew we wanted to shake up what a ‘traditional wedding’ was and put a different spin on our special day. We decided on an intimate ceremony with our immediate family and friends, and later that night celebrate with our wider loved ones at our Engagement Party turned Surprise Reception! Photography was always going to be a special part of our day, being able to relive our ceremony with those who weren’t there. Our vision of the day was that of fun, colour and of course love. After stumbling cross Sabrina on Instagram we knew this was who we wanted to capture our special day. Her modern take on wedding photos and experience with editorial work was exactly what we were after. Walking away from our face to face meeting with Sabrina, we knew we had hit the jackpot. Her easy going nature and excitement around our wedding day and theme was evident – we loved being able to bounce ideas off of her for photography locations and overall vibes. Leading up to the day, Sabrina made us feel comfortable that everything was sorted. I’d been sending her inspo pics so we were all on the same page about what we wanted our photos to turn out like. When the day rolled around, we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better! Sabrina’s gorgeous nature made us feel at ease in front of the camera, there were lots of laughs from not only us by our wedding party too! Giving clear instructions of what to do and how to pose made photos a dream. We were over the moon to receive a generous sneak peek gallery only days after our wedding – and omg we fell in love with the photos. Capturing our pure joy and love, every time we look at our photos we are transported back to the most stunning day and we can’t thank Sabrina enough. Sabrina made our Pinterest Board come to life!!

Sabrina completed the videography for our wedding last year and we absolutely love the videos! Sabrina captured beautifully our ceremony and wedding speeches. She went beyond with what we were expecting- being happy with a documentary style capture for future viewing, Sabrina did not only that but also provided a highlights video, and even brought a drone to try out for it on the day! The videos are artistic, and capture not only the wedding party but other key family members as we were hoping for. It was wonderful also being invited to collaborate in choosing the music to go along to the highlights video to allow it to be most reflective of us. Sabrina was a pleasure to work with, being highly professional, receptive, and non-intrusive on the day. The wait for the final products was well worth it as they are fantastic, and for such a reasonable price.
