Ethan Lan, Over ten years experience as a senior Photographer. Member of Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI); specializing in portrait, advertising, wedding and sampling; many years of experience in technical training in camera and photography; works were frequently published on trade journals.

Growing up, photography became his sole passion. Wherever he went, he always bought camera with him, indulging himself in street portraiture. Naturally he became a professional photographer. He listens to his clients and their stories, gets to know them personally, then was able to capture their most beautiful moments with their unique personalities. He started his own studio after he migrated to Australia recently and has already attracted many attentions in the industry.

Ethan believes that the essence of a picture is to depict the soul of a story. The picture should arouse a person’s emotion and touch their inner-being. A picture inspires deeper feelings in each of us than words. A picture of great depth often makes for a time of reflection, oftentimes inspiring feelings of joy, anger and sadness.

Ethan also believes the viewer should be able to identify themselves with an excellent picture. This is the appeal of an affective picture – it inspires us, touches our hearts, and conveys our emotions.
