I try to get your photos out to you as soon as possible (usually because I am excited to share them with you!) but as I am a solo business woman & a perfectionist, I typically say that you'll receive your final gallery within 60 days after the wedding. If anything comes up that might delay delivery, I would be sure to communicate that ahead of time.
That being said, I usually provide a "sneak peak" preview gallery of about 20 images to you within 48 hours of your wedding so you can share & relive some memories in the meantime!
Absolutely! I typically travel within 30km of my Armadale base at no extra cost but anything beyond that incurs a $2/ km fee.
I have travelled interstate for weddings & other photo sessions & depending peak travel seasons, this usually carries a travel fee starting at about $500. I am looking forward to my first international wedding opportunity & my travel fee for overseas travel is quoted an additional $1500 at this stage. Of course, these costs merely help to ensure that my photogrpahy equipment & myself make it safely to your wedding destination so I can be there for you both on the most special day of your lives!
Every love story is different; I believe that your photography service should reflect this! As well as my standard packages listed here & in my info pack, I have various footage only offerings in 4-10 hourly packages which include the password protected, high resolution, downloadable digital gallery as standard. I also have some print product options including albums, photo books, archival prints & a few extras that you can add on to any package listed to truly make the service suit your own needs.
You will get a very excited reply from me via email & text message ASAP. Trust me, I still get the little excitable butterflies in the stomach feeling with every new enquiry!
I usually try to set up a meet & greet as well so we get to put a face to the name & make sure we are the right fit for each other. I love pastry & chai lattes, I also love charcuterie boards & a cheeky apérol spritz so if we choose to catch up in person, best believe I have some nice cafes & wine bars up my sleeve where we can catch up before committing. I also love to discover new foodie hang outs so if you have a local place that YOU love to go to, I can definitely meet you there. If in person isn't convenient, I offer Zoom meetings too if that suits your schedule better.
If we are on the same page after our meet & greet, I usually send a pre-wedding questionnaire, any relevant pricing quotes & start the planning stages so I can ensure everything goes smoothly on the day of!
Unfortunately, I am strictly a photography based service only, offering digital & analogue film products & services. If I have the resources, I do take "behind the scenes" footage for some content creation for social media & can share this with you but it's not always possible as I have my camera in hand all day.
However, being a networking kinda gal, I do have some great friends in the industry who I can refer & recommend to you if needed.
I am the only photographer in my business but have scaled up in a sense that I have multiple friends in the industry who can become my second photographer/ assistant on the day at a small fee. I usually suggest this as an option after our meet up & receiving your questionnaire answers as I have a better understanding of what would give you the best value. Having a second person with me gets great results as we get two perspectives & I can delegate tasks to them, ensuring that we don't miss a single moment. I have worked with the photographers I recommend in the past so not only are we work colleagues but we're also good friends. Depending on how long you'd need us both, the additional photographer could cost upwards of $300 but you get extra photos in your final gallery because of it! I also take on the editing job so that both of our images are consistent & it won't be a mismatch of styles or storytelling
Part of my artistry lies in my post processing & editing skills, so no, I don't give out my raw images. If you plan to edit them yourself or add filters, the photos would no longer be my work & I wouldn't want to claim them as my own either. When you pay for a prevmium service, you expect a premium product in return so I liken this to a baker baking a cake. You wouldn't ask the baker for the raw ingredients - you want to receive the finished, decorated cake.
I am a big believer in authenticity & seeking the beauty in the everyday. I don't make tummies slimmer, remove stretch marks, smooth out wrinkles or take away the skin's natural texture. This is the happiest day of you life - I want your photos to instill the wonderful memories you make with your life partner & all your loved ones. My style is of a candid, documentary nature & while it's my job also get you at your most flattering angles, I don't try to manufacture moments or get too caught up with the aesthetics. I want to tell the story, as it happens, while still adding an artistic touch. That being said, I usually get rid of any non-permanent things like pimples or bruises but at my own discretion.

I personally like at least 6 months in advance notice for planning but photogrpahers tend to get booked out pretty quickly, especially during peak season (spring to summer). Weekends often fill up quickly as well so anything between 12 to 18 months is a good amount of time in advance to lock in your dream photographer
Your date is locked in once I receive the 50% deposit.
If for whatever reason my photography services are cancelled by the client 2 months before the wedding date, the deposit will not be returned to the them. This will be secured by me as compensation for making myself unavailable to other potential clients on that day & being unable to book other jobs.
