About

I have always been a 'feeder' and enjoy watching people eat my food. I also appreciate organising a wedding may be stressful at times, so it's important for me to make the catering side of things simple and uncomplicated as there's only a handful of things I need to know before I can be there on your special day and feed you and your guests. FAQ

Do you look after guests with dietary requirements?

Yes, we provide alternate bases, cheese and fresh ingredients for guests who are dairy/gluten free, vegan etc at no extra cost per head.

How many pizzas can you cook in an hour?

Our woodfired pizza oven can fit 8 pizzas in at a time and be cooked perfectly. This means we can have a steady flow of pizzas being served on wooden boards to your guests throughout service, until they have been well fed and are completely full.

How much time do you need to set up?

It's important for us to negotiate what time you'd like us to arrive, to ensure we don't interupt your ceremony or guests arrival. Riverside Woodfired Pizza will speak with you and find out the commencement of the ceremony and also the service time so we can bump in, light the fire and set up our gazebo at a time that will not be a distruption to the wedding party.

What can we expect from your Menu?

Riverside Woodfired Pizza (RWP) have built a versatile Menu which can cater for Entree, Mains and Dessert.

RWP provide the following:

Entree pizza - at no extra cost - RWP just need to know that you'd like Entrees served
3 x 'all you can eat' catering packages, starting at $25.00 (plus GST) per head
Dessert menu - work with you to provide desserts for you and your guests
Happy to cut your wedding cake and serve them on bio paper plates

Tracey and the Riverside Woodfired Pizza team made our wedding day! The pizza was absolutely superb, all of our guests made comment on how enjoyable the food was and I (the Groom) still think about the cheeseburger pizza daily. From our initial conversation with Tracey every aspect of organising the catering was an absolute breeze. Tracey was accomodating and responsive to all of our requests and made us feel truly special about our day. Excellent communication-fast, easy transaction. Treats like a family/friend. Variety with pizzas-has vegan options. I tried everything, even the vegan ones, they're all delicious! Guests love them! Served hot and fresh! No queue at all. Tracey went around and offered everyone pizza. Quick cooking time. We had entree pizzas. We have some leftovers for after party. We hired Riverside Woodfired Pizza for our wedding in the last weekend of January. From the initial communication, all the way to the event and even afterwards, Tracey and the crew made us feel special. The pizzas were a huge hit with all 45 of our guests (I recommend the cheeseburger pizza, and the pulled pork with slaw on top). They went above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs, specially making some vegetarian pizzas on gluten free bases, and even going so far as finding a nut-free pesto recipe as we had a couple of guests with nut allergies. I can't recommend them enough!!! They deserve your business, and you deserve their pizzas and amazing service!!!!!

Do we need to cater meals for our wedding suppliers?

Hi there. Wondering if we're supposed to cater meals for our wedding suppliers, and which suppliers are typically included? Need to factor into our budget.

Riverside Woodfired Pizza

I know what it's like to be hangry, so I feed the bar staff and photographers when we're catering for a wedding. Free of charge. In return I ask the bar staff for a drink and the photographer to send through a photo or two that I can use to promote my business. I find this is a win-win for everyone.

Do you charge more for catering on a New Year's Eve wedding?

Would we be looking at surcharges or a different price list for catering if our wedding was on nye?

We're a mobile woodfired pizza catering business and we don't charge any extra for New Years Eve but we would ask for a minimum of 60+ guests, which is our standard practice for a public holiday/special date etc.
