Hire A Kombi is Australia's longest operating self drive kombi hire company. We currently have a fleet of 4 kombis to choose from in 4 different colours and all the original vw experience. All automatic to make it so easy on your special day.
Hire A Kombi is built on passion and joy which is why we love sharing our kombi's with you on one of your most joyous days!
We have a variety of kombi's to suit your wedding and all automatic so if you want to be driven to your special day by a loved one then they will be able to jump and do it with ease.
Harriett is our cream 8 seater which is perfect for your whole bridal party or if you want a pop of colour for your photos then we have Dawson a blue 4 seater, Clancy our orange 5 seater and Pip a cute yellow, 5 seater.
You can take our kombi's for 1 day or if you want to make the most of your time with a kombi and loved ones after the wedding you can hire for longer periods.
If you prefer to be chauffeured we can also offer this service.
We love the process of planning your day to meeting you and loved ones on pick up and being part of the excitement.

About
Alyce met George in 2010 when she bought a kombi from him to travel Australia in. After circling the country in her beautiful reliable camper they fell in love and created Hire A Kombi in 2012. Putting their hearts and souls into the business which they run full time with their 2 children, they have been delivering joy ever since with their fleet of original 1970's kombi's. While they are a small team they have big hearts and love sharing their kombi's for weddings + honeymoons.

You can nominate a loved one to drive you on your day.
They can pick up from our location in Marcus Hill and leave their car onsite until they return.
They have to be 21yrs and over and don't need to drive manual as they are all automatic.
Or you can ask for a chauffeured option.
Yes of course!
We love kids and all the kombi's are equipped for babies and children to attach car seats.
Pick up is from Marcus Hill in Victoria and if you want it delivered you can request this for an added cost.
We include 200km per day of hire and if you choose to go over this you can. The added km cost is $1 per km for the first 50km and $2 per km onwards
