The Moorings Lakehouse is renowned for curating exquisite weddings that extend into a few days of luxury accommodation. All packages include a stay in the Lakefront Villa & Lakeview Barn, accommodating up to 10 wedding party members for 2-3 nights.

Choose from three unique ceremony locations: "the Lakefront" for a waterfront exchange of vows, the covered "Pavilion" for an elegant, all-weather option, or the "Garden" for a romantic outdoor setting.
The Rainbow Function Room & Bar connects to your wedding marquee on the lakefront lawn to create an all-weather dream function space with 210-degree lake views for your post-ceremony meal and festivities.

About
Hello, I'm very passionate about The Moorings Lakehouse and sharing its magic with our wedding guests. The wedding venue has been a 15 year passion project with every detail designed from the heart. We started with a gorgeous lakefront peninsula and have turned it into, what we believe, is a garden of Eden. I'm really looking forward to sharing our paradise with you on your special day.

Venue inspections are available by appointment only. We conduct site visits
Tuesdays and Thursday’s and on weekends (depending on accommodation
bookings). Please email admin@themooringslakehouse.com to organise an inspection time.
We have a list of suppliers that covers the entire planning process of your wedding, from food and beverage suppliers to celebrants, hair and make-up artists and cakes and more. All local suppliers are included on our wedding brochure.
We have standard 2024 / 2025 rates for our Exclusive (weekend) and intimate (weekday) wedding packages that vary as to the time of year. Please make a request by email and we will send these to you. All of our packages include 2-3 nights accommodation on site for 10 guests however these packages are customisable. We also host ceremony only events. Please ask for your specific requirements and we will design a package just for you.
Our Wedding Manager will assist in the basic planning of your day, and coordination with your suppliers. For detailed help we suggest employing a wedding planner.
All tentative bookings will be held for a period of seven (7) days. Bookings will be released after this time unless a signed booking form and a 25% deposit is received and a signed contract. All payments for your event can be made via EFT or direct deposit.
To ensure the safety of your guests and the local community we require that a courtesy bus be organised for the arrival & returned of your guests staying off-site to their local accommodation.
We have parking for 40 vehicles for guests, staff and suppliers in our front paddock with a turning bay closer to the ceremony sites for pickups and drop offs. We request that all weddings include the booking of a mini bus service to ensure guests staying off site arrive and depart safely.
Exclusive Package: check-in from 2pm Friday , late check out 2 pm Sunday.
Intimate Package: check-in from 2 pm Tuesday, check out 10am Friday.
Not included in our wedding packages:
Catering & beverage supply and service. (we can help organise)

During your stay indulge in our lakeside barrel sauna, take a dip in the lake from our private jetty, rinse off and lounge on the sundeck. Maybe book a private yoga class with our instructor in the Pavilion or on the Sundeck. Or simply enjoy a glass of wine watching the sun set over the lake from your accommodation's deck. Please explore our organic vegetable gardens and orchard. Collect your salad and maybe a couple of pieces of seasonal fruit. If you're lucky enough to be staying in the Lakeside Villa or Lakeview Barn indulge in your very own outdoor bath.
The Pacific Palms, Blueys Beach, Boomerang Beach areas have mulitple AIrbnb's, and motels including Mobys, Caravan parks etc, these are all within 20 minutes drive. There are several high end Airbnb's located in Coomba Rd within 10 minutes drive.
