hi bride

This is a hard one! I would strongly recommend using a weddding planner from the gold coast as they know the area and have all the contacts

This will also save you money in the long run ! Good luck x

Dear Northern Terriitory Bride to Be,

If you do not have a trusted bf who lives on the Gold Coast then I would suggest you consider engaging and partnering with a wedding planning and coordination service . Your preferred wedding date, as stated above is 1/2/2017 - hopefully this is a typo and it is actually in 2018. Check out the various local services on the Gold Coast and call them asap - try and face time or Skype with the ones that you have assessed as having a potential mutual fit with you based on your criteria , their websites, easy weddings recommendations ,other referral points, your theme and style for your big day. The Budget also needs to be considered and agreed before you sign a contract of engagement - and remember your wedding planner and coordination services are costs and needs to be included in your total budget. Your wedding planner of choice should have the contacts across venues , vendors and suppliers and be able swing into action on your behalf as soon as you agree the above critical points. Have the wedding planner photograph and or video all critical aspects of your planning development so you can have eyes on the content even if you are not there in person before any commitments and sub contacts are made. If any of the wedding party or family are living on the Gold Coast ask them to be your deputy and work with your wedding planner when logistics restrict your personal involvement . The wedding planner should have experience with working with a " remote" bride and factor this into the planning process. Regardless of where your day is being held your families and guests will be there to support you and your fiancé and I know they will appreciate the ceremony and reception being held on their doorstep.

Have an unforgettable day - your way.

I would try and en-list your families for help given they live locally they can help do the foot work of your planning. Having plans on getting married in another state can be difficult as you aren't close by to see if a possible venue is to your liking etc but if you have a close relationship with both families and trust what they recommend I would see if they don't mind helping you. Good luck and congratulations

Hello, I hope this email finds you well & congratulations on your up and coming wedding!

I would say if you are planning a wedding from afar, it is a good idea to hire a planner and or stylist to help with some of your elements and be that eyes and ears on the ground.

We have had many clients interstate and overseas and some we have not met until event a few days before. However, we support and create networks and see to details that otherwise would be difficult. It doesn't have to cost a lot of money and for the effortless stress free process - it is priceless.

Enjoy the journey + happy planning.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I would advise that you do lots of research and if your still finding it difficult look for a local planner for assistance.

Another good idea would be to have either a family member or a close friend, visit the venues you like to give you some feedback.

Hope this helps! Good luck with your big day

Congratulations on your up and coming wedding. I would suggest research, research and more research. Google will be your best friend here. Look up as much as you can to help the process become a little clearer in your mind. Join local FB wedding groups and ask questions. Ask family members or bridesmaids to help. Find local companies that can send you information on the best venues in the area so you can get a feel re prices and what's included. Or if you are time poor, hire a planner to do all the research for you. I have a range of packages, suppliers on the GC and knowledge of the area. Please feel free to get in contact if you need any help. Thanks, Kelly from Little Miss Party Planner

I would recommend hiring a local planner to assist in the planning process as they already have their trusted suppliers and can scout venues for you et
