{"id":193941,"date":"2014-05-05T14:00:09","date_gmt":"2014-05-05T04:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/less-is-more-at-the-intimate-wedding-of-gosia-samuel\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T15:44:20","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T04:44:20","slug":"less-is-more-at-the-intimate-wedding-of-gosia-samuel","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/less-is-more-at-the-intimate-wedding-of-gosia-samuel\/","title":{"rendered":"Less is more at the intimate wedding of Gosia &amp; Samuel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">&#8220;Our little wedding&#8221; is how bride Gosia Gajewska describes her intimate wedding with partner Samuel Chapman.<\/p>\n<p>The Melbourne couple, 31 and 32 respectively, opted for simple and small, inviting 40 guests to <a title=\"Malvern Valley Receptions\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Melbourne\/MalvernValleyReceptions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Malvern Valley Receptions<\/a>. &#8220;All we knew was we wanted to celebrate this special day of becoming a family with our loved ones,&#8221; says Gosia.<\/p>\n<p>The day was made extra memorable with Gosia&#8217;s Polish family making the trek from overseas to attend. &#8220;My family made their way from as far as Poland &#8211; my dad was the biggest surprise as he&#8217;s not a traveller and only feels comfortable in his own home or in the garden,&#8221; smiles Gosia. &#8220;My parents don&#8217;t speak English but by the end of the night (and enough Polish vodkas), everyone spoke the same language.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Simple touches on the day helped to create a celebratory atmosphere with little effort. Gosia had chosen her flowers a month prior, stumbling across a boutique florist on Melbourne&#8217;s\u00a0Chapel Street. &#8220;I took a photo of one of the bouquets and asked the owner to create similar for our wedding tables,&#8221; she describes.
