{"id":193795,"date":"2014-04-01T14:00:47","date_gmt":"2014-04-01T03:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/country-love-song-the-bush-wedding-of-kirsty-jock\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T15:58:34","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T04:58:34","slug":"country-love-song-the-bush-wedding-of-kirsty-jock","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/country-love-song-the-bush-wedding-of-kirsty-jock\/","title":{"rendered":"Country love song: the rustic bush wedding of Kirsty &amp; Jock"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">A mere 21 months took Jock Richardson, 28, and Kirsty Boyer, 33, from strangers to husband and wife.<\/p>\n<p>After being introduced through a mutual friend, it was while watching country music singer Tim McGraw the pair realised their love for one another.<\/p>\n<p>Married on December 28, 2013, their bush wedding was themed with rustic tones and a touch of purple and mint. &#8220;We chose the stunning ceremony location of a picture-perfect farm on the outskirts of Nagambie in Victoria, complete with a historical family connection to Jock&#8217;s family,&#8221; recalls Kirsty. &#8220;The farm was operated by Jock&#8217;s great-great-grandfather in the early 1900s.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The couple embraced DIY techniques to add several personal touches to their day. &#8220;No amount of detail was forgotten,&#8221; says Kirsty. &#8220;Invitations, hand-printed brown paper bag menus, guest seating chart, stamped personalised monogram hessian runners, over 50 decorated jars all with individual design and materials sourced from the family farm and off-cuts of ribbon and lace.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Their creations were the ideal pieces for the Nagambie Lakes Receptions location. &#8220;The venue is rustic style with polished concrete floors and little characteristics from around the local area,&#8221; describes Kirsty.
