{"id":193567,"date":"2015-07-08T23:29:21","date_gmt":"2015-07-08T13:29:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/curtains-up-tatum-matts-vintage-wedding-at-the-theatre\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T17:09:53","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T06:09:53","slug":"curtains-up-tatum-matts-vintage-wedding-at-the-theatre","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/curtains-up-tatum-matts-vintage-wedding-at-the-theatre\/","title":{"rendered":"Curtains up: Tate &amp; Matty&#8217;s vintage wedding at the theatre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">The vintage wedding of Tatum Stooke and Matthew Miller may as well have been a real life chick flick.<\/p>\n<p>The Victorian lovebirds, both 30, got married at their favourite movie cinema, The Sun Theatre in Yarraville, on November 15, 2014. \u201cI had mentioned that if we ever got married we should find out if we could hire one of the theatres to hold the ceremony,\u201d explains Tate. \u201cThe Sun Theatre was such a magical place to hold the ceremony as we didn\u2019t have to worry about weather conditions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Which was just as well, with the rain gods delivering. \u201cBy the time we got to Clyde Park the clouds had opened\u00a0and it was raining,\u201d says a disappointed Tatum. But some of her favourite images turned out to be those of the couple under an umbrella.<\/p>\n<p>Tate says the guests really enjoyed the theatre experience, eating popcorn while being able to watch the entire ceremony comfortably in view.
