{"id":177580,"date":"2018-06-19T20:00:28","date_gmt":"2018-06-19T10:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/lauren-and-aidan-keep-it-intimate-and-relaxed-at-romantic-elegant-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T02:21:39","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T15:21:39","slug":"lauren-and-aidan-keep-it-intimate-and-relaxed-at-romantic-elegant-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/lauren-and-aidan-keep-it-intimate-and-relaxed-at-romantic-elegant-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Lauren and Aidan keep it intimate and relaxed at romantic elegant wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">When Lauren and Aidan first met, they were too caught up in the busyness of everyday life to notice a spark.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were both busy with our own lives, both previously being married with a child each,&#8221; Lauren, 32, says.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We both found ourselves single at the same time in 2016 and started chatting, which turned into catching up.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Aidan, 31, proposed at home with a photo collage full of memories the couple had created together.<\/p>\n<p>When it came to the Perth couple&#8217;s romantic elegant wedding, they wanted to make sure it was a true reflection of them &#8211; from\u00a0the food, the music, right down to the ceremony itself.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We wrote our own vows, and only invited our closest family and friends to create a more intimate wedding,&#8221; Lauren says of the April 6, 2018 wedding at\u00a0Heathcote Reserve, Applecross.<\/p>\n<p>Fifty friends and family attended the day and joined in the reception celebrations at Bells Functions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We really focused on the intimacy of the wedding, incorporating little details like involving our children in the ceremony, and just bringing everyone together for an amazing party,&#8221; Lauren says.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our wedding was 100 per cent us!
