{"id":164797,"date":"2020-01-14T20:00:25","date_gmt":"2020-01-14T09:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/rhiannon-and-john-put-luxurious-twist-on-vintage-bohemian-wedding\/"},"modified":"2024-04-09T12:31:23","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T02:31:23","slug":"rhiannon-and-john-put-luxurious-twist-on-vintage-bohemian-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/rhiannon-and-john-put-luxurious-twist-on-vintage-bohemian-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Rhiannon and John put luxurious twist on vintage bohemian wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Perth pair Rhiannon and John love all things vintage and retro, and this was reflected in their dream wedding in WA\u2019s south-west.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted a relaxed, fun vibe but with a luxurious twist,\u201d the bride says of their vintage bohemian wedding at Solitaire Homestead, Naturaliste on March 9, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The couple carefully planned their big day over 26 months, with the main priority being to immerse themselves in the beautiful environment around them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted our family and friends to see us in our element,\u201d Rhiannon says of their 100 guests.<\/p>\n<p>The couple wed in an outdoor ceremony in front of a giant gum tree, surrounded by the natural landscape, before an indoor\/outdoor reception that allowed guests to spread out across the rustic venue.<\/p>\n<p>The long engagement allowed boho bride Rhiannon to amass some d\u00e9cor treasures to make the big day their own.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI collected brass mirrors, votives, vases and candelabras and an easel, as well as over 100 vintage crystal etched and embossed shot glasses for the B+G arrival toast on return to the reception,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am a total boho girl at heart. Nothing about my style is conventional. He told me that he had this huge speech prepared but because he was so nervous he had completely forgotten what he was going to say. It was very sweet.
