Easy Weddings, Australia\u2019s No.1 online wedding destination is holding our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/s\/EasyWeddings2013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">annual survey<\/a> of all things wedding related.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re asking couples from across Australia about their big days (whether they have already taken a trip up the aisle or are about to) in order to get a better picture of what Australian brides and grooms want and need when planning their weddings.<\/p>\n<p>Not only does this information give us a better picture of the Australian wedding industry and help Easy Weddings improve our own website offerings, it provides our suppliers with the most current and accurate information on the wedding industry.<\/p>\n<p>For example, last year&#8217;s survey showed:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 40% of couples are budgeting from $10,000-$20,000 for their big day, with one quarter planning to splurge $20-$30,000. A further 5 per cent were predicting that their wedding would balloon to $40,000 or higher<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; About 68 per cent marrying in a civil ceremony and 28 per cent in a church.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; One in five couples already have children when they walk down the aisle<\/p>\n<p>That is incredibly valuable data that nobody else in Australia can provide.<\/p>\n<p>We received more than 5000 entries in last year&#8217;s survey and, this year, we hope to better that.<\/p>\n<p>As a thank you \u00a0for sharing their experiences, we\u2019re giving respondents the chance to win one of five $100 gift vouchers, so feel free to pass the address (http:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/blogs\/easy-weddings-blog\/easy-weddings-annual-australian-wedding-survey-2013\/) on to your customers and give them a chance to win.<\/p>\n<p>The survey will close at 11:59 on Sunday, September 15, 2013 and, as an Easy Weddings supplier, you&#8217;ll receive a summary of our findings in the following weeks.
