These models on the Funkshion Fashion week runway sported Mickey D’s bridal couture and really brought a whole new meaning to the term ‘macca’s run’. All we can say is these ladies are definitely Mc Workin’ it.

Funkshion Fashion Week in Miami Beach, Florida is a four-day fashion event which enables emerging designers to showcase their innovative collections to media and international buyers. However, this year, students from Miami International University of Art and Design, brought their own innovative creations to the fashion arena with an array of gowns made only from McDonald’s food packaging.

Models sported looks made up of sculptured wrappers, burgers boxes and plastic cutlery made by the art and design students as part of a challenge put to them by a South Florida McDonald’s franchisee to create an original fashion collection made entirely out of their packaging. Some of the looks feature happy meal purses and Mc Flurry bodices, with one particular creation doubling as a top and drink holder!

However the pièce de résistance of the Mc Couture collection is undoubtedly the two-piece bridal gown which is made up of a full skirt of scrunched wrappers and a chip packet bouquet and, well, we’re lovin’ it!

Anyone else feeling peckish? Macca’s run?
