Image: Kevin Mazur\/Getty Images via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ew.com\/article\/2015\/11\/29\/mary-kate-olsen-olivier-sarkozy-married-report\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>\n<p>The couple, who have been engaged since early 2014, wed in front of\u00a050 close friends and family, in the famous York city borough.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony took place at a private Manhattan residence, and according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ew.com\/article\/2015\/11\/29\/mary-kate-olsen-olivier-sarkozy-married-report\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, guests were asked to turn off their mobile phones upon arrival.<\/p>\n<p>The wedding celebrations included an intimate dinner followed by cocktails in the rear garden of the residence and a plethora of cigarettes at the ready for avid smokers present. According to\u00a0sources, \u201cbowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sarkozy, who is half-brother to\u00a0former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, was previously married to fashion journalist,\u00a0Charlotte Bernard, and, together, they have two young children.<\/p>\n<p>This is Mary-Kate&#8217;s first marriage.<\/p>\n Mary-Kate Olsen and Oliver Sarkozy have wed in an intimate ceremony at a private ceremony in Manhattan. Image Getty\n<p>It has not yet known\u00a0whether Mary-Kate&#8217;s twin sister Ashley. with whom she runs\u00a0successful fashion label The Row, was present, at the secret nuptials.<\/p>\n<p>The sisters, who rose to fame playing Michelle Tanner in the hit &#8217;80s sitcom Full House, are estimated to be worth $300 million, largely due to their expansive fashion empire.[ew-supplier-carousel]<\/p>\n<p>Full House co-star, John Stamos, has taken to social media to congratulate Mary-Kate on her wedding to Olivier, posting a sweet image of a very young Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on his Instagram page.
