Cairns bride Bree Hargreaves didn’t have to worry about what song she would play when going down the aisle because she would be serenaded by the sound of crashing waves – as she jet-skied into her wedding ceremony.

The 33-year-old surf ‘n’ sun loving bride decided to try something different for her August 17 beachside wedding, so she ditched the traditional modes of transport opting instead to be delivered to her to her waiting groom, James, on a friend’s jet-ski.

The couple, who married on Fitzroy Island (located 45 minutes from Cairns by boat), didn’t tell their 80 guests and, instead, had Bree’s father pretend they couldn’t find the bride.

James, 34, played along, looking worried about his missing bride but, as the strains of Eye of the Tiger started blaring across the beach, Bree appeared around a corner on the jet-ski.
