Strippers and drunken hijinks aren’t everybody’s cup of tea when it comes to buck’s nights but that doesn’t mean your beau has to miss out on his stag night.

Increasingly, couples are having joint hen’s/buck’s nights or they’re holding buck’s nights that are more suited to a groom’s favourite type of entertainment.

If your groom prefers something a little more low-key and sedate, there are plenty of awesome buck’s night alternatives that won’t make anybody blush!

Paintball/laser tag: A super-fun alternative for a bunch of competitive blokes, your groom will have a blast bonding with his best mates – while trying to take them out, virtually, of couse. You really can’t go wrong letting a bunch of boys loose in a makeshift battlefield, can you?

Scavenger hunt: No matter how big boys get, they’ll always relish the chance to compete with their buddies, especially if laughs and fun are guaranteed. A big boys’ scavenger hunt is a fun way to keep everyone entertained and make it fun. Hide cool things that the boys in question will actually like and want to find, such as computer games, slabs of beer or, as we once heard, a fishing rod and bait for a group of fishing-mad groomsmen!

A card night: Having a card night or poker game with a small budget will keep card-playing bucks and their men entertained throughout the night. Keep the buy-in low and the boys will happily spend the evening trying to better each other on the card table. Order pizzas and drinks and they’re probably going to enjoy themselves far more than you can imagine!

A video games night: It may not be the traditional buck’s night but there is nothing wrong with playing some video games if your groom and his friends are that way inclined. In fact, they’ll love it. Invite your groomsmen and friends over and enjoy a twenty-four hour binge on video games while playing against each other and holding tournaments. Be sure to stock the fridge full of snacks and ensure your joysticks, game pads and consoles are fully charged!

Play their favourite sport: Even if your bloke isn’t that sporty, if he loves a code, arrange for the boys to spend a day playing it! Whether it’s football, rugby or cricket, allow the groom and best man to captain two teams and have them pick their players. Arrange an Eski full of snacks and drinks and make it a day!

A day at the races: If your boy loves the fillies, arrange a day at the races. They can can get all dressed up and spend the day sizing up the right kind of fillies! Just be sure they don’t get too carried away placing bets.

Make any other activity to the buck’s night: The games and activities above are a great starting point for a buck night but there are unlimited opportunities. Depending on the groom’s interests, you could complete an obstacle course, have a round of golf, go fishing or even sky-dive. Buck’s nights are no longer limited to strippers and alcohol but they are about having a great time with your friends, so, really, anything that achieves that is suitable, it really just depends on what your groom and his friends like best.

[225,126
