Samantha and Daniel, both 28, met at highschool in 2004 when they were just 14.
Fast forward to 2015 and they were engaged at midnight on New Year’s Eve, and welcomed a baby boy in June 2016. Once settled in their first home in March 2018, they began planning their rustic restaurant wedding.
Wet weather at Mount Cootha Summit meant their outdoor wedding was moved inside, but that didn’t dampen the day. “The ceremony was held in the reception room and it was absolutely stunning,” recalls the bride. “For the reception, we incorporated wood into our table settings, with small glass jars and a simple flower arrangement. This felt so us and we could not be more happy with the decorations on the day.”
“To finally get married was just the last piece of our puzzle and be the family we always were destined to be,” smiles Samantha. “After 14 years we could not be more happy to finally be Mr and Mrs Woodcock.”

The bride opted for a two-piece wedding gown with beading and tulle.
The couple had planned their wet weather option ahead of time.
Guests were treated to donuts as well as traditional wedding cake!
