How We Met:

Jayson and Veronica first met at a pokies venue in Melbourne. After going on a date and coming to the conclusion that they were not each others type they went there separate ways but only to run into each other again four years later and this time there was no stopping them.

The Proposal:

Jayson proposed during a cosy dinner in St Kilda in front of the fireplace. It was casual yet very romantic.

Wedding Dress:

If there is one way to really make an impact with your wedding style, its with your dress. Searching for a gown with a point of difference I turned to Pallas Bride. Realizing my vision with their exquisite fabrics, French lace direct from Paris, embellished crystals and talented patternmakers they provided me with my own unique aspect of femininity.

Accessories:

The bride and bridesmaids wore earring by Stephanie Browne.

Groom's Attire:

Wore grey pinstripe suites. The groom gave each groomsmen a bag containing Aquilla shoes, socks, cufflinks, aftershave, a tie & customised lapels in clear boxes.

Bridesmaids

The bridesmaids wore Pewter dresses by Saba.

Flowers:

Flowers were high on the agenda. The bridal party all carried bouquets of white roses, freesias and silver suede. At the reception we had six vases per table. Three tall vases of white freesias, which created a lovely perfume throughout the room and three square vases with a mixture of white garden roses, blushing bride, freesias & andromeda. Each vase was placed on top of square light reflecting mirrors and had small square tealite candles on each corner which helped set the romantic mood. Along the alcoves of the walls at the reception we had vases of white sweet peas alternating with tealite candles and in the guest rooms we provided complimentary perfumes and toiletries to enable our guests to refresh throughout the evening.

Ceremony Reception Decor

Located on the banks of Albert Park Lake with uninterrupted views of Melbournes city skyline. Guests entered through a white stone courtyard complete with Bel Air palms & crossed over turquoise tiled ponds and into the beautiful open event space with soaring windows and glass sliding doors that opened up onto a wooden decking where pre-dinner cocktails & food was served. The interior palette was a warm sophisticated blend of fine textures and natural tones.

Transport:

The bride and groom were escorted in white Mark 5 Convertibles, the bridesmaides were escorted in a white Mark 5 Sedan and the groomsmen were escorted in a Porshe.

Bomboniere:

Each guest recieved heart shaped chocolates.

Cake:

A white three tired jaffa cake. Yum!

Entertainment:

We hired a band called Tequila Brothers, they were great we danced the night away with all our guests.

Honeymoon:

Two weeks in Broadbeach, Qld Very romantic and very special.

Special Moments:

Hearing my new husband make his speech and confess his love in front of friends and family. He dedicated a song to me and it will remain special to me forever.

Tips:

Just relax and take it all in. Plan, Plan, Plan and know that you have done all that you can to make your day perfect. On the morning of your wedding just wake up knowing everything is planned to perfection and saviour every minute of it, enjoy getting ready with your bridesmaides and spending time with your family. Then just relax and take the moment all in. It is truly the BEST day of your life.
