We dined at a lovely restaurant in Port Melbourne overlooking the Bay. When we went home and opened the door Shandell saw a note on their dinning room table saying "Will you marry me"? With an open ring box and a stunning princess cut diamond ring! Shandell jumped up and down with joy and forgot to answer Markus for a moment... of course the answer was a definite YES!!
A halter neck in latte shade with diamantes and pearl beading, under the bust it was made of ivory chiffon. Was different and non traditional!
Earrings with diamantes with a drop pearl and my bracelet was similar with diamantes.
Markus wore a black suit with a faint blue strip through it, a white French cuff shirt, diamante cuff links and an ivory tie and a latte swirl through it. Best man wore a black suit with white French cuff shirt, similar diamante cuff links and a metallic brown (cadbury) colour tie.
Wore a dress in Cadbury shade (metallic brown), which was complemented with a diamante brooch and diamante jewellery.
Metallic brown, diamantes, ivory and a hint of red.
Phalaenopsis orchids, with white Singapore orchids and a few red ones for the bride and groom. The bridesmaid and best man had white Singapore orchids.
Ceremony Reception Decor
We were married in Melbourne Town Hall in Council Chambers and our reception followed at The Pier Hotel in Port Melbourne we had white Singapore orchids with floating candles as our centre pieces.
Heart shapes cookies (which doubles up as place cards) with individual names iced on each one made by one of our friends.
Chocolate shard marble wedding cake, one layer Carmel and the other chocolate mud. It was better than we could have even imaged!!
We had a DJ.
We spent two nights at Crown Towers before departing for our honeymoon of 10 days in Fiji at the heavenly Westin Resort.
Walking down the aisle to instrumental music seeing Markus standing there, he then came to meet me by the hand to take me the rest of the way. The ceremony was truly an amazing incredible experience, as was the entire day and evening!
