How We Met:

We met up the coast where my parents live - apparently Luke did paper scissors rock with his cousin for me!

The Proposal:

We were in Thailand with my parents and on New Years Eve, with fireworks in the background he proposed.

Wedding Dress:

I wanted something quite simple but elegant and I felt like a princess in it on the day.

Accessories:

I didn´t have too many because my look was quite simple and not overdone.

Groom's Attire:

We hired suits from Peppers formal wear. The boys looked gorgeous in their suits.

Bridesmaids

My matron of honour, mum and I found them at Ojay. They were blue-gray and suited each of the girls figures perfectly.

Wedding Theme:

Pearls and ivory.

Flowers:

I hated my flowers, this is the only part of the wedding I was disappointed in.

Ceremony Reception Decor

Mum, my aunty and I decorated the church with ivory sashes and cream roses. The reception was decorated by Romeo´s Chair and they captured our theme perfectly.

Transport:

A friend of a friend drove us in his Rolls Royce and he was wonderful - so relaxed.

Bomboniere:

We just had little cameras on each table which were fun for the guests.

Cake:

Heavenly cakes did a wonderful job on the cake.

Entertainment:

We used Mobydisc DJs and Steve was fabulous! Nata Forte sang at both our ceremony and reception and she was amazing. Maggini Strings were a string trio who played at the ceremony.

Honeymoon:

We went to Singapore for a couple of nights and then stayed at the new Hard Rock Hotel at Penang. Fabulous!

Special Moments:

The speeches were a real highlight. I really enjoyed my father daughter dance with my dad. It was wonderful to plan the event with my mum for two years.

Tips:

Everything in writing. Enjoy everything while you plan because it goes way too fast.
