How We Met:
We met through our best man Matt Wall a friend of both of ours. We both had ties with go karting and saw each other here. We began as friends and it went from there.
Jason proposed in June 07 at home, we were getting ready to go out with friends for dinner he proposed after he had rang my dad in Adelaide to ask for permission.
The dress was a white silk and lace dress hand made. I wore a fingertip veil and changed to a hairpiece for the reception.
Jason wore a 3 piece suit in black with a white fatboy tie and vest.
The 4 bridesmaids had the same colour dress but in different styles to suit them.
Wedding theme was traditional colours, white and latte with a touch of pink.
The flowers were roses in white and sahara ( a light brown) with peppercorn berries in pink. In my flowers I had cinnamon sticks, and my bouquet split into 3 smaller bouquets when I threw it at the end of the night.
Ceremony Reception Decor
Ceremony we got married in St Peters School Chapel which is beautiful enough without decorations. At the reception at Ayres House it was all white except for the table decorations of flowers and the bomboniere boxes.
The boys had a stretch hummer to arrive at the church, we used 2 white Holden Calais to get to the church, and a stretch Mercedes to leave for the reception. To leave the reception we used a horse and cart.
White and pink smarties with choc scorched almonds in wok boxes tied with latte and soft pink ribbon with the guest name attached.
The cake was an individual cupcake design with us and our beloved family pets on top. This was served as dessert.
We hired a band Winter Cherry which we had seen at a friends wedding.
We honeymooned for 2 weeks in the US - LA, Vegas, Miami and Orlando.
I guess the most special moment for me was walking in and the two most important men in my life both having a tear - my dad and Jason.
Relax and enjoy the day it goes so quickly.
