A really elegant, timeless gown in gorgeous, luxurious fabric. It has a crossover front, cowl back and small train at the back. The website of the store it was bought from--it's a current model, though nearly sold out, imported from the US--says, "This sophisticated cream crepe gown features an ultra-flattering fit: perfectly pintucked surplice neckline, deep cowlback, and a subtle train." It has a 4.9 out of 5 star rating on the website, one of the highest ratings of all of their gowns.

I had it professionally altered slightly around the armholes and had a stitch put across the front to make sure that it didn't gape, and had a hook put at the back (you can clearly see this on my own photo) so that it can be hooked up for walking/dancing. I also had a stole professionally dyed to match (also shown in the photo) and can include that if required. [NB: the sparkly belt on the designers' website was just a suggestion and was not part of the dress, however I do have the provided cream matching belt.] The length is unaltered since, at 173cm it was perfect for me while wearing 8cm heels. It can be taken up.

It is a US size 14, Australian or UK 16.
