The Easy Weddings Forums have now been retired to make way for a brand new discussions area!

Over the years the Easy Weddings forum has been a great place to ask questions, post stories and meet other brides (and grooms).

Unfortunately as our community has grown - the forum has no longer been able to give YOU, the best possible experience on our site.

SO - we've decided to retire the current forums to make way for a simpler, easier and more fun community experience! It's now easier than ever to start a conversation, contribute back to the community with helpful answers or just share your wedding journey with others.

Best of all, the new discussions area uses your existing Easy Weddings account to sign in!

Visit the new Discussions Section

P.S. To all our existing forum users - please note that you will no longer be able to login, post or reply to any topics in the old forum. We encourage you to visit the new discussion section instead. We don't plan on removing any of the old content so you can still dig up any old conversations you may have once had :)

Forgive me, oh deity of wedding forums, for I have sinned - I have neglected to post and update this thread! ;)

It's picture time!

Wedding ceremony decor - kept quite simple since we were in such an amazing art deco-style room.

My handsome man in his fedora pre-ceremony. :)

My MOH and I in front of the wedding car (1926 Studebaker Limousine) pre-ceremony.

The kiss. :luv1:

Skyping with my parents after the ceremony.

Our favourite wedding picture - through the columns at Parliament House.

Walking together in front of Parliament House.

My handsome hubby. :)

My favourite individual photo of me.

My bouquet - roses, cymbidium orchids, sweet yea, hyacinths, silver suede foliage and ostrich feathers.

We got permission from Yarra Trams to take pictures with and on the old City Circle tram. :) So much fun and perfect for our theme!

The "guestbook" at our reception - a Chinese scroll with a big double happiness symbol that our guests could sign for us.

Our reception decor.

Our centrepieces in the same style as from the ceremony - mint julep vases of hyacinths and lily of the valley with red rose petals. Had red napkins to match the petals, and bamboo chopsticks with a blue and white floral pattern to match the centrepieces.

Wedding pies!!! :) Mini apple pies courtesy of a good friend. (And they were sooooooo good!)

My reception outfit, "baju kebaya" - an intricately embroidered cotton linen blouse closed with three brooches (kerosang) and a sarong for the skirt.

Serving tea to my new mother-in-law for the tea ceremony.

Time to sit back, relax, enjoy some amazing Malaysian-style food and have fun! :) The perfect end to a wonderful wedding day.
