Wedding day timeline:
We often get asked "What happens on the day?". We've put together a timeline of a 'typical' wedding day. These times will vary as each and every wedding is different.

Bride Preparations:
We aim to arrive to the Brides preparation location 2 hours before the ceremony commences. We get shots of hair and makeup, and set up shots of elements used in the wedding such as jewellery, shoes and flowers. If time permits, we also get a few shots with family members.

Groom Preparations:
30 minutes prior to the ceremony commencing we meet the Groom and Groomsmen at the ceremony location and capture some final pre-ceremony moments. 

Ceremony:
Ceremonies can run for 15 minutes up to an hour. The times of these are out of our control, we simply shoot what we see! Post ceremony we stick around for the family photo session. This usually begins around 10 minutes after the completion of the ceremony. Allow 30 minutes for this session, these always take longer than expected.

Photoshoot:
Most couples usually allow around 2 hours for this session, depending on the number of locations. We usually shoot the entire bridal part for the first part, then take the newlyweds aside for a more romantic shoot. We travel in our own vehicle with our equipment to all photoshoot locations.

Reception:
We cover the Bridal party entrance, the speeches, cutting of the cake and the first dance. We usually stick around for one or two songs after the first dance to capture the guests busting a move. After this time we depart for the night.
