AXII Media is a Melbourne based videgraphy business with the ambitious goal to become the absolute best wedding videographer service in Melbourne, by 2020.
I plan to reach this goal by focusing on something that frustratingly seems to be missing from almost every wedding video I've seen.
A story.
Most wedding videos seem to just be generic snaps of the day, with no momentum carrying you from moment to moment. Nothing to really pull you in and help you relive the emotions of the day, in a unique and significant way.
As dorky as it may sound, I come from a background of studying Acting and Film making in Canberra, and because of that, honest story-telling has become absolutely paramount with everything that I make.
So, when you get a chance, I'd love it if you and your fiance or fiancee could sit down together, turn the volume up, and see how my wedding films makes you both feel. If you feel nothing, and don't enjoy it - no worries at all! I still wish you the absolute best on your wedding day, and hope you find the right videographer.

Hi, I'm Alex! I'm a Melbourne and Canberra based videographer. After graduating from Canberra Academy of Dramatic Art, I moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in acting. Somewhere along the way, I became incredibly fascinated by what goes on behind the camera, and how a film is brought to life. Because of this curiosity and intrigue, I found an immense love for the art of filmmaking.

I absoultey do! I love to film in different locations, as each place brings a unique vibe to the wedding. All travel over 60km outside of Melbourne CBD (and 50km outside of Canberra CBD) are factored into your personalised quote.
I don't, and there's a very good reason.
Raw footage is exactly as it sounds. It's "raw". It's the ingredients of a 5-star meal, but not the meal. It's the seperate fabrics of a gown, but not the dress. It's all the paint, but not the painting.
The art is in the edit. That's where the story, momentum, visual tones, etc. are meticucously crafted.
Before it goes through the editing suite, raw footage comprises of many, many, many short, desaturated, unatractive clips. It's my job to sift through every single shot, and handcraft a beautiful film for you and your partner to enjoy for the rest of your lives.
With this being said, I do happily offer a longer edit of the day if you'd like to have as much footage as possible.
I do! But only if weather and CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) restrictions allow. Some palces are controlled airspace, and have very strict no-fly regulations in place, and others are completely free for flight. It just depends on the location.
