Whilst you enjoy all the glorious moments of your day, I will be chasing the best shots, unearthing the little moments that make a day so magical.

I then piece a story-centric, cinematic film together that captures the energy, the intimacy and the excitement of the day.

I use proper cinema gear (Blackmagic and Red) that elevates the footage quality well above the standard aesthetic most videographers can provide.

We are so lucky to have had our wedding shot by Alex of A Love Song for Melbourne. The memories he captured through the short film and tastefully shot stills eclipsed our expectations. Our friends and family were literally awed by the result and commented that the film, in particular, perfectly captured the tone of our wedding day. Alex has an eye for the minor details and produced a record of our day that is genuine, original and beautiful. I recommend A Love Song for Melbourne to any couple who wants a bloody great wedding video but particularly someone who isn’t keen on the traditional and prefers something different.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Alex's work. He is an extremely talented and creative videographer and a lovely person to boot. We asked him to come on board at the last minute after seeing a video he did for a friend's wedding (which was AMAZING and made me cry, in a really good way ;) ). He is punctual, friendly, flexible, fun, a good listener, and is super happy to accommodate any ideas or vision you have for your wedding video. He truly went out of his way to create the most incredible video of our wedding - putting in so many hours for an extremely reasonable price. The video is exactly what I wanted and he completed the editing work super quickly. We honestly could not be happier with Alex's videography - it's a video we will treasure forever - and couldn't recommend him more highly.
