Sophie and Quim were awesome, they captured our Wedding day beautifully and were a pleasure to work with. They moved seamlessly throughout the day, we hardly even knew they were there. Just wow. We picked Sophie because she did such a fantastic job of our friend's wedding video and we were amazed at just how well she managed to capture our special day in a 5 minute highlight reel. It was exactly what we wanted and since receiving the video, I have watched it almost every day since! Sophie was very quick at the editing process and we received the video within a few weeks of the wedding.

Choosing Sophie as our videographer was a no-brainer. We knew she was an experienced film maker, and that she would be great to work with. Sophie has this amazing talent of not only capturing naturally beautiful moments, but also capturing them without you ever knowing she was there! We were so surprised when watching the video, and kept commenting "Wow! When did she shoot that?". Both myself and my partner tend to act a little awkward in front of a camera, but Soph managed to make us feel totally at ease, and as a result all of our smiles were natural and real. She also has a truly artistic eye, and set up the shots in the scenery and venue so beautifully; she really did capture the magical atmosphere of the day. Thank you Soph, for creating the most perfect keepsake of such a special moment in our lives; we will treasure our video always.

Yes, most companies should offer a cheaper package that still includes the editing side of the video. It's pretty important to get a wedding videographer to cut the film together to get the best result both in tone, style and finished look.

How much does a videographer in melbourne usually cost?

I am looking into quotes and have been quoted $3,500. Is it cheaper or better to get a bundle video and photo deal?

Hi Farina,

Alot of different skills are used when creating a high quality wedding video. Prices will often be higher with a company and it does depend on what you want covered and for how long (not to mention whether what you are after involves a second videographer). Editing the film is also a large and specialised process - another skillset involved.

You will be watching this film for years to come- with your grandchildren, no doubt! So, you want to make sure you don't go with price alone - you will often get what you pay for.
