Visions West Productions have been filming weddings for over 10 years. We have filmed weddings across Australia including a number of international weddings. I have worked in the video, broadcast and audio visual industry for over 15 years. I started filming while still in high school, I won a contract to produce local cinema advertising for private cinemas and Visions West was born. Since then, I have filmed 100's of weddings and still get a kick out of every single one!

Yes, of course we can. If you have special requirements or feel your needs are not met by our packages get in touch with us directly to discuss your specific requirements.

Sure, we are happy to make changes until you are happy with the finished product.
Yep! We just ask that you supply a sufficiently sized external hard drive, we will copy all the raw footage & audio to your drive and return ASAP!
Nope! We will get you to sign a contract for service after you book, reserving your booking and making a commitment to us, and us to you (sound familiar). We ask that you make full payment by the date of your wedding, we are happy to accept partial payments, big or small.

How long should it typically take for a videographer to return the final product?
My sister got married two years ago, and it took almost 6 months for her videographer to return the video of her wedding. I want a videographer at my wedding, but I'm scared it'll take the same amount of time to come back. Is 6 months normal to wait for your wedding video?

I usually provide my clients with an expected time-frame at the conclusion of their wedding based on current workload and future bookings. During a busy period it typically takes no longer than a month. Quieter times with less bookings takes a few days to a week.
Can the videographer also just take a video of the entire ceremony start to finish?
Can the videographer take a video of the ceremony on a tripod but also do a edited mash up of the entire day? Or will this greatly increase the price? I love the edited videos, but would also like to remember our vows etc in their entirety. Thanks

I film ceremonies with two cameras, but always run a strategically placed GoPro which records from a few minutes prior to the brides arrival right through to the end. Sometimes I use this as reference or to time align the video from the other two cameras. It makes for a nice safety net and I am happy to provide it on USB in its entireity for my clients but typically don't edit it.

Sure you can, but as Focus Imagery said - professional videographers have all the necessary equipment designed to capture the ceremony including audio capture. They will monitor the equipment during the ceremony to ensure there are no issues and will usually have a backup or second camera too! At Visions West we record all weddings with two DSLR Cameras, Independent Audio and a GoPro for backup - there is only one chance to get it right!
