Moby Dicks is set on the hill overlooking Whale Beach in Sydney, Australia. Moby Dicks offers sit down weddings for up to 150 guests, and canapé weddings for up to 200 guests. A garden courtyard is available for ceremonies on-site.
The Boathouse is located in Palm Beach in Sydney, Australia. Set on Pittwater with beautiful water views, The Boathouse offers canapé style weddings for up to 200 guests, and sit down weddings for up to 30 guests.
The Boathouse Shelly Beach is located in Manly in Sydney, Australia. The Boathouse offers weddings both upstairs + downstairs. Upstairs offers canapé style weddings for up to 120 guests, and sit down weddings for up to 60 guests. Downstairs offers canapé style weddings for up to 200 guests, and sit down weddings for up to 80 guests.
Barrenjoey House is located in Palm Beach in Sydney, Australia. The heritage restaurant is located opposite Pittwater, with a guest house upstairs. Barrenjoey House offers canapé style weddings for up to 120 guests, and sit down weddings for up to 40 guests. Small sit down weddings for 14 guests including an overnight stay is also offered upstairs at Barrenjoey House.
The Boathouse can cater for your wedding, engagement party, hens party, getting ready on your wedding day, recovery brunches + any special occasion! The package is available for your home or chosen venue, and includes food, beverages, styling + The Boathouse team for service.

We can accommodate the following:
Moby Dicks Whale Beach : 150 guests for a seated event + 200 guests canapé style
The Boathouse Palm Beach: 30 guests for a seated event + 200 guests canapé style
The Boathouse Shelly Beach: 80 guests for a seated event + 200 guests canapé style
Barrenjoey House Palm Beach: 40 guests for a seated event + 120 guests canapé style
The venue hire includes exclusive use of the venue for 5 hours, The Boathouse Team for service, floral displays in the main room, standard table settings, causal lounge areas as well as a dance space.
Fresh white linen table cloths + napkins (Moby Dicks only), white dinner plates, white side plates, cutlery, glassware.
6 hours is the maximum time frame which you may hire Moby Dicks. This includes your standard 5 hour wedding + 1 hour extension.
Any Extension involves a $750 Venue Hire Fee per hour + a per person cost for your unlimited chosen Beverage Package.
You must have Bollinger Special Cuvée selected as your Champagne option in your unlimited beverage package to be able to hire the Bollinger Boat. Bollinger Special Cuvée is included in Beverage Package Three, or you may opt for a Bollinger upgrade if Beverage Package One or Two is chosen.
The prepaid unlimited beverage package for your entire guest number is the only option at our venues.
Please speak to our Team for the different spirits options we have available for our Weddings + Events.
Please confirm with your Event Coordinator access for setting up + collecting items.
Approximately one Team member per 15 guests.
Yes, your Coordinator will be present at the beginning of your Wedding or Event to ensure that all is running smoothly + as planned.
Cake cutting is complimentary.
Yes, we do! Please list all guests in our Special Meal Requirements section on your Final Details Form, + we will cater for their needs.
Yes, we have The Boathouse Ceremony Styling Package which may be set at any location on the Northern Beaches or on-site - please contact your venue Coordinator to check that this is available for your date.
If you book our Ceremony Styling Package you have the option to include a beverage station at your ceremony location. Please speak to your Event Coordinator for further information on pricing + potential council restrictions.
We would love to take the stress away from you and be able to provide a breakfast or lunch whilst you are getting ready, or catering the following day. Speak to our events team and we would be more than happy to tailor a package for you.
