When Dion Range purchased 160 acres of agricultural land in Western Australia’s Manjimup region, his instinct was to build a boutique lodge on the property. Made from hand-cut stone and local timber the lodge, called Stonebarn, is truly exquisite and offers six luxury suites, each with a four-poster bed, claw-foot bath and balcony overlooking the dam and onsite trufferie. The lodge is exclusively reserved for weddings with couples able to use numerous unique ceremony and reception locations.

The accommodation at Stonebarn sleeps 16, comprising 6 luxury suites upstairs and 2 double ensuite bedrooms downstairs, so it is possible for the children to sleep in any of these rooms. In the lodge each upstairs suite is 50 square metres with en-suite bathrooms, clawfoot baths, glass showers and sunken french double basins with separate toilets. Rooms feature four-poster, king-size beds and small balconies overlooking the lake and the truffìèrie.
For your other guests attending the wedding, there are many accommodation providers in the area, please find attached a separate document listing nearby accommodation other weddings have used. In the attached supplier document you will also find the bus companies that transport guests to and from Stonebarn.
Stonebarn will be exclusively yours – the entire lodge is rented to only one party at a time to ensure privacy and exclusivity, and operates as combined venue & accommodation hire only, providing you the perfect canvas to choose your own caterer, furniture hire and other amenities to suit your special day.
Handcrafted with local stone and timber, Stonebarn luxury suites sleep 12 and comprises 6 large suites with balconies overlooking the dam, forest and truffiére. Each spacious suite includes a king size, 4-poster bed, large en-suite with claw-foot bath and shower, TV and reverse cycle air conditioning.
There are two extra bonus bedrooms, each with en suite, available downstairs should you wish to use them (each room sleeps one couple) for no extra charge. With these extra bedrooms in use, Stonebarn lodge sleeps a total of 16 people.
A fully equipped chef’s kitchen is available for your caterer. There are several areas that can be utilized for your celebrations.
No, unfortunately we can’t allow parties or ceremonies in our truffiére due to bio-risk to the truffle farm and risk of contamination and damage. However, there is one aisle of truffle trees marked out that you may use, and there are many areas in the surrounding forest on the property that can be set up for a ceremony or used for a backdrop for photography.

No, Stonebarn is venue hire only; we don’t have staff employed on site. Someone will be available for emergencies, but not in attendance.
You can set up your dance floor in the Gazebo, the Dining Room, the Clearing or the Verandah. No, we don’t require flooring to be set up but you’re welcome to arrange if you wish.
Stonebarn is conveniently located just 15 minutes drive away from both Pemberton and Manjimup. Contact the Tourism Association for more info.
Yes, Stonebarn lodge is fully self-catered so you may supply your own food and alcohol or hire a caterer/chef to arrange this for you.
The ground floor has 2 guest toilets and 1 shower available. The six suites upstairs each feature glass showers, French-style claw-foot baths, sunken double basins and separate toilets.
Children are most welcome with adult supervision.
We allow a maximum of 100 guests. There are several areas you can utilise to hold your celebrations and we’d be delighted to show you around on a site visit as the number of guests per area will vary depending on how you’d like to set it up (round tables vs long tables vs cocktail etc).

No, but before you leave, please ensure all rubbish is placed in the appropriate bins, all furniture is where you found it, any dishes or crockery are washed and put away.
While we don’t have staff on-site at Stonebarn, we can recommend several experienced stylists that will work with you to design your perfect day, arrive early to set up, assist if required and pack down after the celebration also so you can enjoy a hassle free day. Contact us to enquire.
Whenever you wish – as Stonebarn is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, there is no curfew. You may finish your wedding at a time that suits you, or celebrate all night!

Hi, we are looking to elope. Most packages we’ve seen for venues come with a celebrant and photographer. We’d like my partners brother to perform the ceremony but as he isn’t a registered celebrant we had looked at doing the legal bits during the week at the registry office. We also don’t require a photographer as we already have one from previous events we’d like to use again. Most elopement packages come with both of these things as a must have inclusion. Any suggestions??
What are all the considerations we need for an outdoor wedding?
Hi there, we are considering an outdoor wedding. What are any pitfalls we'd need to prepare for, or ways in which outdoor weddings are handled differently to indoor ones?

The main pitfall for an outdoor wedding is the weather. However, you don't need to worry about that at Stonebarn as we have indoor ceremony/reception locations as well as outdoor locations. So weddings that plan to have an outdoor wedding but can no longer due to inclement weather, they just have a plan B and use one of the indoor locations instead.
Due to Stonebarn's remote location, there is no curfew at our outdoor weddings - so feel free to party to the early hours without any noise restrictions :)

Hi Emma,
Stonebarn is a "sole-use" venue which means we rent out the entire lodge at a time. You are responsible for finding your own vendors so you can use your partner's brother to perform the ceremony and the photographer you want to use from preivous events.
You have the exclusive use of the 80h/160 acre estate, surrounded by state forest, an antique bath in the forest with unlimited hot water, kilometres of river frontage and marked hiking walks around the property. We are therefore able to offer the choice of six ceremony locations and three reception areas (both indoor and outdoor options in case of inclement weather) as well as many photography locations. Best of all, as an exclusive venue you will not be sharing your wedding with anyone else and so there is no curfew. You can end your wedding at a time that suits you, or celebrate all night!
