The Princess Theatre

Our simple one price venue hire fee allows you to choose your own catering company and style your event to suit your aesthetic.

You can even BYO beverages to save heaps of $$ 

Exclusive hire of the Princess Theatre for wedding ceremonies and receptions includes:
• Full access to Theatre stage, auditorium, balcony and gorgeous inhouse lighting  
• Sound system and lighting operated by an experienced technician

• Gorgeous statement furniture 
• Rehearsal time for the bridal party prior to the wedding day
• Well-appointed kitchen and serving area for use by external caterers.

The Princess Theatre comfortably seats 320 guests for the ceremony with the use of the original vintage balcony.

Reception set ups are tailored to each individual wedding. We suggest a max dining capacity of 180. Cocktail events have have upto 250 people.

The theatre also boasts a large projection screen with rear projects capacity so that you can include a visual display to put that unique and personal touch to the day.

Whilst the Princess Theatre itself is a magnificent historical photographic destination it is also surrounded by other beautiful locations such as the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and Southbank Parklands.
