The award winning Akoya Suite, with Swarovski crystal chandeliers, stunning decor and stunning views out over the harbour and Indian Ocean will provide the perfect glamorous location to make sure your special day is unforgettable for both you and your guests.

The Breakwater is the winner of the "WEDDING CATERER IN A FUNCTION CENTRE" award for the past two years at the 2011 & 2012 Restaurant and Catering Awards, as well as numerous other awards including Best Overall Hotel in Australia.

We have a number of custom designed packages available to suit all wedding styles & our dedicated and experienced team are there to make your special day run perfectly.

The staff at the Breakwater, especially Helen the event manager were great to work with. Helen dealt with enquiries efficiently & provided good advice throughout the whole process. We had a really smooth ceremony and reception and everyone had a good time! Thank you for all the lovely memories! :)

The Akoya suite was perfect for our reception with the marina and sunset view. The events team were amazing and everything was stress free and ran perfectly. I didn’t have to worry about a thing.
