True South is a modern, industrial wedding venue in the Melbourne suburb of Black Rock. The Art Deco garage features exposed beam ceilings, concrete floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to a large terrace overlooking Port Phillip Bay.
A True South wedding is truly memorable for its location, the beautiful room and the culinary experience.
Imagine the romance of a coastal wedding with sumptuous food and a range of beer and cider to match if you desire. With stunning views across Port Phillip Bay your guests will be enchanted with this reimagined art deco building.
We cater for weddings of up to 70 guests seated with a dance floor or up to 170 guests in a cocktail setting.
The Bay View room boasts exposed ceilings and a soft industrial style finish. The function room comes complete with private bar and a have a range of furniture options to create a beautiful atmosphere where you and your guests can celebrate in comfort and style. There is also generous balcony providing an outdoor area for a ceremony or for your guests to relax The venue is the perfect canvas for you to design the wedding you have always imagined.
