The Luxor is located in Taylors Lakes in Melbourne’s West and is one of the city’s premier function venues.

Hosting two rooms, The Luxor can tailor for 130-280 guests in the Alexandria and 230-500 people in The Ballroom and caters to weddings, engagements, debutante balls, dinner dances and other social events.

From our exceptional service to our exquisite menu, our team can offer the expertise to make for a memorable occasion.

Unwind and relax in your private upstairs bridal suite with your own exclusive entrance.

Make your stunning entrance down our classical grand staircases where a spectacular view of the room and your guests await you.

Our dance floors, made of a rich parquetry, are circular and spacious and perfect to dance the night away to modern or traditional cultural dances including Greek, Macedonian, Italian, Albanian, Maltese and Middle Eastern.

We had our reception in the Ballroom. We had 330 guests so this was a great size for everyone to fit comfortably. It was $99 per head which included pre-drinks and canapes, platter of your choice on tables, entree, main , dessert fruit platter and tea coffee with wedding cake served as well as beer, wine, softdrinks . The food was delicious and very decent serving size. The room and decor was very tasteful.

From the moment we walked in to view the Alexandria Ballroom we fell in love. And on our day it was even more beautiful then when we first walked in. The team was always there to answer my 101 questions and were quick at doing so. The food was amazing and couldn't fault one thing about the Luxor it is a truly one of the kind venue. We were extremely happy with this venue and the support that we received from the whole team at Luxor. Booking this venue in early 2020 for a January 2021 wedding, we spent the year anxiously waiting to see if the wedding could happen. The managers of Luxor were extremely supportive throughout the year and only a phone call away when we needed to speak to them. We received so many compliments about the food, service and ballroom on the day. We will be recommending this venue to anyone who asks us - absolutely amazing.
