Conveniently located only 35 minutes from the Sydney CBD, in the Dural region of the Hills District, Allegro feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, while still being an easy commute for family and friends. The property boasts extensive private gardens for intimate civil ceremonies. It is a breath-taking terrace bar, bordered by the wondrous views of O’Hara’s Creek, an array of colourful local wildflowers, and tall towering gumtrees, and expansive deep green valleys.

    Immediately upon entering Allegro, you’ll step down into the dining room, which features 5 meter high ceilings. Its cosiness is perfectly encaptured through exposed rustic columns and beams highlighted by a huge fireplace and glow from the candelabras. The room also houses a baby grand piano, spacious dance floor, and period side pieces, all adding to the impressive venue’s romantic ambiance. Magnificent French doors open onto a stunning covered balcony, overlooking more than 80 acres of the natural Australian bush and banks of O’Hara’s Creek - a gorgeous setting for pre-dinner canapes and cocktails.

    Within the extensive span of manicured gardens of Allegro, a gazebo awaits those looking for outdoor ceremony space. The gazebo boasts a vast tiered seating area, a double bridal swing and bridge, and an arbour. Make space your own with small personal touches such as fairy lights, hanging lanterns, and delicate flower garlands with snakes of ivy and eucalyptus on the arbour, an idyllic backdrop for those all-important wedding photographs.

Glenn and Kay Torta have more than 60 years in the hospitality industry with two landmark restaurants in Parramatta, Bar Roma Restaurant, Est1958, specialising in fine dining, fresh seafood and silver service, and Courtney's Brasserie [modern Australian] Est1984. A tree change lifestyle move in 1989 brought us to Allegro and the start of it's transformation into a unique wedding venue, continuing the family tradition of incredible food, service and above all - Excellence in Hospitality.

FAQ

Yes, the bridal party can arrive at the venue up to one hour before the ceremony/reception begins.

The estimated balance due is required a minimum of two weeks in advance of the wedding date. Payments may be made by credit card +3.5% credit fee, bank transfer, personal cheque of bank cheque.

When you are ready to confirm your booking with Allegro, we ask that you pay a deposit of $1800, either by cheque, cash or bank transfer.

We have no hidden costs. All costs are stated up-front and GST is included all prices quoted. The only things you need to organise for your wedding is Celebrant, place cards, the wedding cake and your photographer.

Our Terrace Bar which adjoins the Dining Room is protected from the elements, so outdoor ceremonies can still go ahead if the weather isn’t desirable.

We accept wedding reservations up to two years in advance.

If your heart is set on a particular date, we suggest reserving that date two years in advance. If you can be flexible with your wedding date (highly recommended), we suggest reserving a date 12-18 months in advance. Some prime dates may still be available with shorter notice.

Maximum capacity is 200 guests seated, 300 guests cocktail style.

All of our meals are prepared in-house which allows us to cater for all special dietary needs. These include vegetarian, vegan, coeliac and lactose-free options.

Allegro has ample free off-street parking for up to 70 vehicles and an excess of parking spaces available roadside.

Very helpful prior to the event and was able to cater for our odd request. As everything was in house (Food, DJ, MC, Ceremony & Reception) it made having a wedding such an enjoyable and stress free experience.

We never thought choosing a wedding venue would be such an easy task but walking into Allegro my husbby and I both just felt that it was the perfect fit for us. We had our wedding reception there in May and have absolutely no complaints! Glenn and Kay ensured the whole night ran smoothly, they kept us on schedule, they checked in and chatted with our guests throughout the night, and the food was delicious! We've had so many comments about how wonderful it was, how great Glenn & Kay were and so many people have told us much they loved the food.
